Silver Lining to a Flight Delay - Unexpected Airport Oasis
This was the most surprisingly pleasant impromptu stay I can recall. After sitting in the Delta lounge nearly all day at DFW with a delayed flight, we were told it was further delayed until 6 am the following morning. Not wanting to travel far, we learned that the Hyatt was right at the airport and connected. A quick tram ride away, we found the Hyatt connected to the international terminal and it was just the quick respite we needed before our early morning. After a lovely steak dinner at the restaurant's bar and a good rest in the comfortable bed and spacious room, we were ready for the early alarm to catch our early flight. We took the elevator downstairs, where security checkpoints were only a few steps away. Bonus points for good snacks in the lobby and an interesting view of the runway. Couldn't recommend more for a tired traveler!

The best airport hotel I stayed so far.
A couple of months ago, I experienced what I thought the best airport hotel one could imagine. Now this is at least equal to that.
The hotel is located in terminal D. Descending from the hotel lobby and you are right at the security check for departure. The room is spacious, clean and stylish, with modern features. The bathroom is spacious, sparkling clean with a bathtub and spacious rain shower.
The tarmac view from the room was the best.
Check-in and checkout was fast, and staff are attentive.
I love this hotel.

Best airport stay
Always a great experience. Spacious rooms, friendly and attentive staff and extremely clean. The customer service is probably this hotel’s greatest asset. Having easy access to D Terminal makes it easy to check in and go to your gate with SkyLink. Having access to the DFW Valet service is a plus as well.

Great stay
I had a very nice experience here. The rooms have been recently renovated so everything feels nice and new. They are also very high tech. I was a bit worried I may hear airplanes but I always sleep with a white noise machine and did not hear a thing. The three staff members I interacted with were all very nice and pleasant. The location is incredibly convenient, you can reach it from the sky rail and after taking an escalator from the lobby you are basically immediately at a security gate for terminal D.

We only stayed one night as we were travelling from Dallas to Atlanta for the World Cup football the following day, however the staff were so lovely, attentive, friendly and helpful and the hotel was really lovely.
