Looking for a birthday venue

Came here to see if this would be a good place to host my La Dolce Vita themed birthday party.
Ok, from the outside, it is not impressive. It's located on a busy street, not a fantastic area. But, when you walk inside, it is very aesthetically pleasing.
It feels more like a Mediterranean/Greek vibe than it does Amalfi Coast, but it's pretty regardless.
It has a swimming pool in the middle of the courtyard, olive trees with twinkle lights, white plushy pillows in the seat of your chair.
Food was impressive, but service was slow, and I absolutely hate when they don't come to clear dirty dishes off the table.
This is a contender for my party though, I can see my guests really the vibes.

Great design, wonderful staff and frette robes —- all at decent price. I’ll definitely stay again when I come to LA.

This was my fourth stay at the Cara and I've had a great experience each time. The rooms are beautiful, staff is friendly and helpful, and the grounds are really lovely.

Beautiful hotel near Silverlake in Los Angeles. Overall a great place to stay with a nice bar and an outdoor dining area. The front check-in and bar staff were so friendly, at checkout, and they offered to fill our water bottles back up before we left. It’s the little things like this that make all the difference.

Perfect spot to stay for frequent travels to Los Angeles

On the outskirts of Los Feliz just South of historic Griffith Park, exists a calming retreat known as Cara. On Western Avenue just above Hollywood Blvd, Cara is hidden with the exception of a lone valet umbrella. We found ourselves having to travel a few times a month from Fresno and needed a place to stay not far from Silverlake with manageable pricing. Simple yet sophisticated, abuzz with activity but in a hip, vibey way, Cara is clean and inviting with staff (Cheyanne, Brain, Mason) who remember you visit to visit. Rooms are intimate, tasteful and quiet once the enjoyable, live music ceases. The restaurant, with tables lining the reflecting pool, has a sophisticated menu and nothing ordered so far has missed the mark. All servers have been top notch with Josie being a standout. Until our commitment in the area ends, we will continue to make Cara our home away from home. We appreciate that this haven amid the hubbub exists.
