The hotel had a lot of amenities. Compass Cove has 2 buildings, and we stayed at the Mariner. We stayed at the 3-room oceanview, so it was at the very top. The room looked renovated, however, the place was not sound proof, so you could really hear people talking outside and next door.
Would’ve been better if their appliances were newer and complete. The dryer was horrendously noisy; the dishwasher outdated; silverware were cheap; cups too small; no skillet (good thing I brought mine); and tea kettle was broken.
I hope management would read my review so they’d make changes.

Been coming for four years and staying at the same place having multiple pools and multiple things to do as well as enjoying the DJs by the pool, Starbucks and something to do for everybody in the family

First, I would say the staff was professional. This was our second stay, but this time in the pinnacle building. The room was not as pictured and it was undesirable to say the least. The only good thing was the view of the ocean via the 15th floor.
The room, (1563) was dirty, toothpaste on bathroom door, some yellow build-up in shower, not properly dusted in months. Appliances broken & rusty light fixtures, and fridge. The room actually looked liked it had water damage. Also, it had a very loud mildew odor. There were other maintenance issues, door not locking properly and the bathroom door not closing.
We contacted front desk and both maintenance and housekeeping came, however, some things we were told was out of there control. They did what they could, and it was after 9pm.
I spoke with a manager about the issues and room given, and let her knew that per my booking through 3rd, that the room presented was an updated room,not the undesirable room we were given. However, she told me I should contact the 3rd party, to let them know about updating the picture??? I didn't have that issue last month when we booked via 3rd party and received what was pictured and we paid for. The manager again offered to send housekeeping/maintenance. No thanks. We would have kindly appreciated being offered what we booked. We decided to check out early and stay elsewhere. (BEST DECISION)We will NOT stay here again. And please, stop blaming 3rd party booking.

No trash can in my room and my in laws room the refrigerator was leaking water in the floor and had flys everywhere

Accommodate guests when they come to you with their concern with their hotel room . A returning guest should get requests automatically. Room wasn’t ready at 4 . Do better for returning customers
