My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Willow Bay.
Check in was a breeze and the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the furniture appeared to be brand new. The view of the Ocean was perfect for hanging out and enjoying a drink.
Willow Bay has a great location right on the beach with lots of restaurant options near by.
The pool and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We love coming to Myrtle Beach and we will definitely be coming back to Willow Bay.

Arrived at 6:20pm, got room, wasn’t clean, waited 30+ minutes fir them to clean.. Deposit and subsequent payment was not taken from account, had to pay full amount at the property. Pictures of property are grossly misleading.

Check in was very smooth-As we entered the room there was dirt on the floors, a dirty washcloth still hanging up, with poop in the toilet I had to Clorox and sweep the whole place-there was also a hanger still hanging up in the extra room, the view was great but the windows were dirty

I don’t understand how this place is getting good ratings.
PRO’S: no bed bugs, only a couple roaches, right on the beach, not extravagantly priced, and they let me check in a hour early.
CON’S: DIRTY, misleading photo’s, not maintained, stuffy, and safety concerns.
The room was dirty. Like hair and hairband in the shower drain, used soap in the soap holder, mold on the door, brown sticky stuff on the tables, stains on the couch, sticky/sandy floors dirty. I had to clean everything myself.
The storage closet in our particular unit had an open panel leading into the wall of the resort that humans could fit through. I did my best to block that door our whole stay. You’re given a code to get in the building but the door is left propped open so anyone can come in.
The microwave was missing in our unit.
Some of the outlets didn’t work. You can hear the people in the next room breathing. The bedroom has no air circulation at all and it’s hot - it doesn’t help that you aren’t allowed to set the air below 72 degrees.
On the balcony, people flick their cigarettes and trash down onto the awning.
The pool is tiny and shaded almost all day long. There are wasp nests in some of the outdoor furniture. The jacuzzi was green and closed down.
The front desk was unsure and somewhat dismissive when I asked them anything.

Great view, clean and nice room. The soundproofing is a little weak, but everything else was perfect. Thank you!
