Great place to stay in Nantucket.

Great location, rooms are nice and Nantucket like which is great, services is very good. Breakfast can be improved and not have so many sweet baked goods and add some toast or bagel or even small baguette or pita .

Perfect, quick overnight stay on Nantucket! Location can’t be beat, Front Desk team adorable, cheerful and helpful, property is exceptionally-clean and bed linens sooooo comfy!

Perfect, easy-peasy location from Steamship Ferry (others not far either), and to anything right in town
Very helpful, friendly, cheerful Staff
I stay in hotels about 150 nights per year, and this was the most comfortable bedding I’ve felt in a long, long time!

Great location, room for improvement

The location was perfect; an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. We loved the complimentary bikes, the cozy front porch with rocking chairs, the refillable glass water bottles, complimentary drinks and snacks, and the delicious continental breakfast. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability was also a nice touch.
Unfortunately, cleanliness and comfort fell short of expectations. Our room had visible dust, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, hair in a dresser drawer, and the stairways were noticeably dirty. The bathroom was also quite small and lacked a makeup/magnifying mirror, which is something I expect at nearly $1,000 per night.
When I asked the manager about a makeup mirror, I was told to buy one at the pharmacy down the street, which happened to be closed on Sunday. A more thoughtful response, such as offering to provide one the next day, would have made a much better impression.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the bathroom and the absence of a makeup/magnifying mirror. While our historic property does have some smaller bathrooms due to the nature of the building, we understand that thoughtful amenities can make an important difference, particularly at our rates. More importantly, we sincerely apologize for how your request was handled. Advising you to purchase a mirror at a nearby pharmacy, rather than looking for a way to assist you ourselves, was not the level of hospitality we want to provide. We should have made every effort to find a more helpful solution, and we regret that we missed that opportunity.
Your feedback is invaluable and gives us an opportunity to improve both our property and, equally importantly, the way we care for our guests. We truly appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide the comfortable and welcoming experience you deserved.
