Grandma's Perfect Stay-cation!!

I live locally with my daughter and her family. It is a blessing to get to share in my grandkids' everyday lives, watch them grow and be part of the family's routine, but it is EXHAUSTING being a semi-retired parent and balancing the conflicting interests of/loyalties to my daughter and the kids. Getting to escape to the Robert Frost Cabins for a couple of days of down time is a silent balm to my soul. Don't get me wrong, I love my life, but having a chance to let the ringing in my ears subside, to control the remote for the TV, for the doors stay latched without needing to get up, AND to buy myself maple popcorn from the gift shop and eat it entirely at my own leisure without it disappearing "accidentally" is restorative beyond measure.
This is the exact stay-cation I needed to recharge my battery and come back home feeling a bit more like my own self. It's only a short drive from home, I can go down to Middlebury easily if I need to get anything and the cabin feels luxuriously isolated for someplace so easy to get to. I really appreciate that you rent a whole house worth of space but the cost is comprable to just a room at a regular hotel - it is affordable independence and serenity without losing any of the amenities (they have thought of nigh everything).
Long story short, I hope we can make this a routine thing for me! It's a perfect staycation for this ol' Grandma!

Fantastic experience

We stayed only for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The cabins are great for families. Neatly arranged and fully equipped, super clean. The amenities are great and the location has a nice view and a lot of options for relaxing and enjoying outdoors. We highly recommend this place.

This place has the best customer service ever!! Enjoyed every minute as the cabins are top notch. Can’t wait to go back.

A wonderful mountain cabin experience

We have enjoyed the peace and beauty of Robert Frost Mountain Cabins a number of times and each time is a time for rest and recharging. The cabin is always very clean, beautiful and in excellent condition. We love the complimentary cinnamon twists on our first morning and the ongoing attention to detail in the other services offered. Chris and Jaime seem to think of everything and are always available to help if needed. We will continue to enjoy this quiet and beautiful mountain retreat.

Wonderful Vermont mountain stay

We knew that the Green Mountains of Vermont in late May would be lovely with spring, and were excited to be staying at the Robert Frost cabins. The Robert Frost cabin and facilities exceeded our expectations! The cabin itself is a beautifully crafted log style cabin. The interior construction is beautifully done. The amenities (kitchen, etc.), very good quality. We appreciate the green aspect, e.g. heat pump, recycling, etc. The location also was good: not too far from our attending a college graduation, and Route 7. The owners, who are friendly and caring about their guests, seem totally dedicated to operating a high quality Vermont stay, whether the season is. As skiers we would like to come back in winter.

Our only regret for your time here is how wet it was for graduation, but our daughter greatly enjoyed getting to play foosball with you all and hopes for another round when you're back this way in the winter ❤️
