Martin and Willie, the manager and grounds manager were very helpful in every way. We had a 3 day party celebration with 20 people in attendance. Martin and Willie arranged to have tables and chairs set up in the courtyard for our entertaining needs. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. A beautiful historic Boutique Hotel. Highly recommend.

Weekend gateway

Beautiful hotel inside and out. The room was clean, cozy and very inviting. Willie helped us with are bags up to the 4th floor and made sure we had everything we needed. Defiantly going back to stay. What a jem of a place!

We absolutely loved the room, the building, and the location. It was delightfully quirky and tastefully styled and the bathroom had clearly been renovated semi-recently. I give 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons:
1- There was a glowing red exit sign in our room poorly masked by a partial wall that was awfully creepy and hard to ignore throughout the night. If you need it dark to sleep, this was not the room for you. It looked like something between a Stranger Things poster and a gate to the Underworld. Perhaps this was unique to our room.
2- The floors were very dirty when we got there to a point that we had to get creative to not get grime into our sheets at bedtime.

This is a beautiful property and the room was spotless. Housekeeping came quickly when needed. When leaving I ran into the property manager, I believe his name was Matt, who was just as friendly as housekeeping. Street parking was easy to find and cheap (free overnight).
