Comfortable Stay & Central Location

Overall had a pleasant stay at the Sheraton. The location is central and a few blocks from Pikes Market as well as other attractions. The staff was friendly and overall accommodating. At times the staff seem disinterested when asking questions.
While the room was being finalized the hotel gave us access to the Club Room with snacks and beverages, which was pleasant.
The room/suite was spacious and cozy with great views of the city The suite was also clean and overall the floor was very quiet, which was pleasant.
Breakfast was included and the buffet was ample with fruit, eggs and other items as well as coffee and beverages. Overall this was pleasant stay.

Fine hotel, terrible fitness center

Excellent location. Older hotel but well maintained. The fitness center had one treadmill for a 1,200+ room hotel. Fitness center was entirely inadequate. A bunch of old crummy exercise bikes and ellipticals.

Disappointing amenities and service lapses for a premium hotel

While my room at the Sheraton Grand Seattle was clean and comfortable, the overall experience was highly frustrating due to several service failures during my short two-day stay.
Upon arrival, the elevator was broken, which made getting to the room difficult. Additionally, the in-room shampoo and body wash dispensers were completely empty. I specifically asked housekeeping to refill them, but my request was ignored. As a result, I was forced to use hand soap to shower.
For a hotel of this tier, dealing with broken infrastructure and a lack of basic hygiene supplies—followed by a failure to resolve the issue—is unacceptable. There were simply too many issues for a brief two-day visit. I hope management addresses these maintenance and service gaps.

Friendly hotel in a good location

We booked this hotel to explore Seattle for the first time. The location was excellent for walking to Pike Place Market and to get to public transportation to explore other parts of the city. The staff was always friendly. We had a major flight delay but the woman answering the phone ensured that our room would be available to us. Check-in was efficient once we got there. Our king room featured a nice view of the city and had plenty of space for our luggage as well as a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, drawers, and a sizable closet. The room was mostly up kept well minus the blinds which had some wear on them, some of the bed sheets which looked like they had some rips and an ink stain, and the sliding door for the handle was hard to close and had a loose handle. House keeping did a decent job most days though sometimes we got bottled water and sometimes we didn’t.
The destination fee was not unexpected but it was a pleasant surprise to be able to redeem most of it for Starbucks and Uber credit daily. The front desk and Starbucks staff were all very nice and well intentioned, though the front desk staff had trouble at times redeeming the Uber credits when the concierge was not available. The Starbucks staff got our order right almost all of the time.
The gym was decent for a hotel gym with two sets of dumbbells and multiple weight lifting machines. It did not live up to the standard of the gym at the Sheraton in downtown Toronto which had more heavy duty equipment.
Vivienne’s Bistro had a modern take on Chinese food with efficient service.
The only major area for improvement was that the public hallway on our guest room floor was clearly not being vacuumed as the same debris was by the elevator all week.
All in all I would stay here again if the price was good for the area.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located near Pike Market, the aquarium, and lots of other shops and restaurants. It’s more of a stop and go.
