We love El Pueblo Inn!
We have been staying at the El Pueblo Inn for a number of years. It is a beautiful property; the gardeners are always working. Fountains; beautiful colored tiles; palm trees; quiet. Clean pool; hot tub. Elizabeth front desk was charming and all smiles. Rudy was SUCH a help, so patient over the phone, knowledgeable about the property and accurately and quickly captured my info for the reservation. Reasonable price. Plenty of parking. Easy 40-min walk to downtown Sonoma thru the parkland. Shout-out to Rosario for her comprehensive knowledge about the surrounding area and Otillia for getting anything we needed for our room. Spotlessly clean. Heaven!

Peaceful oasis with a garden surrounded by the hotel building itself. A great place to relax between adventures.
Peaceful oasis with a garden surrounded by the hotel building itself. A great place to relax between adventures.
It was mostly quiet while we were there with minimal noise from guests though there is a busy road nearby. One night we were able to hear the hooting of owls. The room we stayed in had a balcony with chairs and a table where I could spend a peaceful morning or evening. If the night got chilly, the room we used had a fireplace in the corner, though it did require occasional adjustment to keep it active or else it would dwindle. The blow drier didn’t work, but the front desk immediately provided a replacement. The room was clean and quiet, no complaints there.
The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi that are open 24 hours and felt great after long days traveling. Continental breakfast is included. As for location, the hotel is close to Sonoma Plaza with its shops, restaurants and historical locations.
The hotel provides a binder with nearby historical locations, places to eat in the area, and nearby hikes, among other useful information.
If you have a car, it’s a good central location to visit various areas in Sonoma, Napa and Marin Counties.
Lastly, this is was one of the better priced hotels in north Bay Area compared to the others we looked at.

One of our Favorites
Beautiful gardens. Large pool & hot tub in yet another lovely garden & patio area. Quiet rooms. Shaded areas almost everywhere. Convenient to drive (or a bit of a walk) to Plaza, restaurants & shopping. Whole Foods easy walk away. Lovely staff. Good midweek rates. One of our favorite getaway spots.

Unassuming little slice of heaven off the beaten path!

A team that goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay?✅✅✅
As a world traveler and a person with high standards this little gem hidden just down for the plaza in Sonoma Valley is an absolutely fabulous stay!
I have had the pleasure of staying here multiple times, hosting business meetings, and can attest to a summer vs winter stay as well...
My winter stay included a roaring warm fire in their lobby, and a warm and welcoming breakfast gathering! The rooms are toasty and so aesthetically pleasing for my ADD brain lol.. tmi, but it's true! Plenty of easy and close parking. The whole team is super accommodating.. and a pleasure!
I have also stayed during the summer and they have a lovely pool and hot tub area... and I also host business trainings and meetings in their new conference room.. and I can attest first hand that the GM, Aranda, goes well out of her way to make sure that everything is set up, on point, wifi is strong and you have literally everything you need... she's truly an incredible human and it's clear she cares about this company like it was her own.. because her genuine nature in making sure you are happy and well attended is a true differentiator in many of the choices you have to stay. The conference room is well lit, has heating/cooling, black out shades, mounted T.V. for presentations, coffee and refreshment station and large leather chairs that were so comfortable.. even after 8 straight hours of sitting!
If you are coming to stay in Sonoma, don't overlook this awesome location... tell Aranda hi for me! Oh! and I cannot remember what it is they plated in their landscape but it smells like a tropical haven whenever I walk down that path!

Great Stay in Sonoma!
Beautiful stay! Great room-clean and comfy. Grounds are lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We will stay again!
