NO BREAKFAST PROVIDED!

This hotel has changed from a Best Western VIB to a Best Western Premier. I have stayed here on multiple occasions and have always loved the hotel, but unfortunately, my most recent stay may be my last.
The biggest disappointment is that they are no longer offering even a simple complimentary continental breakfast. The only option is to order breakfast from the menu, wait for it to be prepared, and then pay for it. Seriously, Best Western—you can do better!
The rooms at this hotel are quite small, but I was always willing to overlook that because the complimentary breakfast was a nice added convenience and made the stay worthwhile. It was simple, but it was good, quick, and convenient. Being able to grab something to eat before heading out for the day was a big part of what I appreciated about staying here.
I truly hope Best Western will reconsider this change because I really like this hotel, its location, and the staff. Unfortunately, without the complimentary breakfast, I am now considering other hotels for my future stays.

Excellent experience

Great location and wonderful staff. My room was just perfect and loved the shower. This will be my go to for when I stay in Springfield. Also convenient for parents with college kids at MSU or Drury.

The room was quite a bit smaller than expected, but it was fine. It did have a. Sound machine, which was nice, but the flooring was pretty bad. The pieces had large gaps which didnt feel good to step on, but overall the room was clean and accessible. Very little water pressure, but livable.

The room was fine for one evening, but the layout was odd. There was only one nightstand for a king sized bed. The shower curtain in the bathroom was too small and did not stay closed, allowing water all over the floor. There were just hooks to hang clothing - not a proper closet.
Staff was very pleasant at check in. We would stay again for one night, but this room would not be comfortable for a longer stay.
