Set in Stony Brook, 400 metres from Stony Brook Beach, Three Village Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Offering a bar, the property is located within 39 km of Splish Splash.

Very disappointed!
We lived nearby for over 40 years and ate at the Inn several times with good memories.
Coming back from out of state for a local charity event we thought it would be fun to stay over at the Inn even though the room price was higher than other options.
We were put in a "Cottage" on the grounds that was the equivalent of a cheap motel room. Out of date, poorly kept up (see photos) and highly perfumed to hide whatever needed olfactory improvement. Also we arrived a night and the light outside the room was not working so we needed cell phones to find the door lock. We notified the front desk and were told they would "try" to have it fixed, which did not happen by the time we left two days later. Once inside we found the in-room dehumidifier (at first in all our hotel stays"" was full and needed to be emptied.
The beds were fine, and in general the room was OK, but since we stayed two nights we expected the room to be made with fresh towels, etc. but no service during the entire stay.
On the positive side we had dinner in the restaurant on the second (Saturday) night and the food and service were excellent!

Three Village Inn NIGHTMARE
The hotel looked charming from th outside. Inside The floors were so uneven it was hard to walk thru the hotel an rooms. The ceiling in the bath was so slanty kept on hitting my head. There were so many extension cords in the room it looked like a fire hazard. The bar was on the main floor below the rooms. Heard the noise past 2am. I sent the Hotel Mgr a text explaining my ordeal. It went unanswered or acknowledged.

Disappointing & overpriced stay
The Inn is located in such an inviting and lovely area, so much potential but I am very disappointed in stay.
Even though my cottage was perfect in size, super spacious, facing the docks - so beautiful, there were some major concerns. The following are a few of those concerns: (1) stained bedsheets; (2) TV and phones did not work - no way to communicate with front desk; (3) moldy shower curtains; (4) dysfunctional AC; (5) check-in process was not ideal - no info on inn, hours and other amenities were provided at all; (6) no one in the front desk 24/7 (even though online it says they are open 24/7).
Overall, I must say that this stay was not worth the price (paid over $445 for 2 nights when I could have stayed at a nearby hotel for half the price).

Nice restaurant in a pretty village
Nice restaurant in a very pretty historic inn in the very cute town of Stony Brook. The food is essentially pub food but it’s quite good. The service is very friendly and the biz of locals made it a very enjoyable evening. I had a simply prepared halibut that was a very generous portion, a really good cut of fish and it was prepared perfectly.

Three Village Inn
VERY poor communications as we asked multiple times for an early (1:30pm) check in. Received the standard “our check in is 3pm.” Absolutely unwilling to, at least, suggest that this property would be open to an early arrival.
After that, we requested to leave our overnight luggage in their lobby as we were scheduled to attend an affair nearby for the afternoon. Their response, again standard, “we cannot be responsible for luggage and we do not have any room to hold your bags”.
Poor and impersonal front desk and a horrible room up in the ATTIC! I’m a short man and using the toilet, standing up, my head hit the sloping wall of the overhead roof!
$291 for a one night stay?
On top of it all, couldn’t get to sleep because the Inn had a wedding RIGHT BELOW OUR ROOM! Did they tell us…NO. Did they KNOW that evening had a wedding scheduled…YES!
This Hotel owes us, at least, a $150 refund! NOT a credit for a future stay…a REFUND!
They have been notified, both by their “customer satisfaction” e-mail survey. Absolutely crickets with no response.
