Spa stay at the Falkenberg stand bath
A nice hotel that is kept in older style, but open fireplaces, nice large furniture divided with partitions, so you can sit and have fun,
I had requested an upgrade to sea view, which they could not comply with at the reception. We therefore took our suitcases and moved up to the designated room, however I think that the standard room was small, and checked my mail. We moved down through got talked with the manager who met our wish about sea views and we were happy. Very kind gentleman.
Room with sea view is large but balcony and very beautiful in delicate pink color and large double bed.
The spas are cozy decorated in different departments (bottom).
Three pieces outdoor spa heated. Relax areas X 2 - the one where you can order snacks, drinks and more.
Had booked relax massage from home (obs that you do this in good time)
A good massager.
Face treatment- also a good service.
All staff in the spa area are very friendly.
Had booked the very stay including breakfast and 3 dishes menu evening. A selection was made of 5-6 starters and 6 main dishes. There was a more-betsling by cammuslinger for the prey and surcharge by entrecotte to the main dish.
The first night we picked farm pigs (cottlet on legs) the best I ever got
All in all a great place and we will be happy to come back

Overall good but....
We had a great stay with two nights in a room with a nice terrace and sea view. But there is room for improvements regarding service. The food in the Famille restaurant is great, but the service we got especially on our other evening was not good. We had a table until 18.30 and were ready in line. In the morning we had been here and asked for a table outside. They would note that in our booking. In front of us in the queue is a couple who have come in from the street. They don't live in the hotel. They're asking for a seat outside. Staff spend a lot of time finding a table for them outside. We succeed and finally it's our turn. It is not even noticed by the staff that we have asked aboard outside. We get a seat inside and when we sit down it's been almost half an hour. After that, it takes twenty minutes before we can place an order. So if you travel with children who are hungry, you should count on waiting time for the food. And even though it is a beach hotel, one should not count on being able to sit outdoors. It is a pity when we have so few hot summer nights in the Nordic

Hej och stort tack för er fina återkoppling, vad roligt att rummet med terrass och havsutsikt samt maten på Famille föll er i smaken!
Samtidigt beklagar jag verkligen det som hände er andra kväll. När ett önskemål om uteservering är noterat i bokningen ska det såklart följas upp och väntetiden ni beskriver är inte den nivå vi vill hålla.
Tack för att ni tog er tid att berätta, det är precis sådan här feedback som gör oss bättre. Vi hoppas få välkomna er tillbaka en varm sommarkväll, då gärna vid ett bord ute!

Very disappointing
We stayed at Falkenbergs sjöbad and it was not what you had expected.
We would celebrate 2 who turned 70.
We were greeted by a rather worn outside but beautiful entrance / Reception.
But...
Relatively very worn overall even the rooms.
There were some worn rooms but I have never seen this.
Very small rooms.
Shower head broken.
Cranes that were screwed and loosened.
A makeup mirror sat loose
1 half toilet roll and no extra.
No kettle.
Fully stocked wine and spirits fridge was available which we did not priority.
The rooms had no AC but luckily the window opened.
Very responsive.
And no we had no desire to start complaining.
Full speed with music and happy in the hat people. At a Spa is not to be expected either.
Since we didn't get any info that you have to book a table far in advance, i.e. like 7-10 days before during high season ( they said on site) so there was no snack at the hotel which was a shame.
Luckily we booked a table for breakfast on arrival after info about this on site.
The breakfast was not special either unfortunately and had hoped for better selection.
Oatmeal was something else.
No curdled milk.
Cheese salami turkey as a topping and a gray liver pate.
Main course white beans, some kind of sausage, hot mushrooms, scrambled eggs and bacon.
Boiled egg was only soft so not to choose from loose or hard boiled. So I ate eggs but not several others.
No salad, no peppers.
No bit of herring or other good stuff we're used to.
The bread there was no towel to change when cutting up.
On Friday night I went to the bar and ordered 1 cup of Tea (there was no Tea or coffee in the room)
There was only coffee they said???
Then ordered 1 glass of juice and since I am allergic to shrimp I ordered a shrimp sandwich WITHOUT shrimp and got the answer that it was not possible ??? I said I'd be happy to pay full price anyway.
I asked if they ordered their shrimp sandwiches from ICA and got the answer no they are made in our kitchen.(the kitchen closed 23.00 and I ordered at 20.15 time)
And they didn't have time to boil eggs?! Then I answered that it is enough with 1 but...
I don’t like to eat burgers which the others did so hungry I ate my chocolate bar and my banana.
On Saturday me and my friend wanted Tea and new staff on site and suddenly we got Tea. Did they feel that there were 2 who drank Tea?
The staff overall were nice with a few exceptions where the word serviceminded was completely gone.
Hotel breakfast is everything and nice staff.
We are nice and did not want to shower the staff with complaints as it is not their fault.
5 star hotel it is not. Possibly 3 stars.

Hej och stort tack för att ni tog er tid att berätta så utförligt, särskilt när ni valt att fira två 70-åringar hos oss. Då ska allt stämma och det gör mig uppriktigt ledsen att det inte gjorde det.
Bristerna ni beskriver på rummet är inte okej och är vidarebefordrade till vår fastighetsavdelning och housekeepingteamet. Att ni inte fick information om att restaurangen behöver bokas i förväg under högsäsong tar vi också till oss, det ska framgå tydligt redan vid bokning. Detsamma gäller era synpunkter på frukosten och upplevelsen i baren, där en kopp te och en anpassad smörgås såklart aldrig ska vara ett problem.
Jag skulle uppskatta att få höra mer direkt från er. Skriv gärna en rad till servicemanager@strandbaden.se så följer vi upp ordentligt.

Don't go there.
We paid almost 5,000 SEK for a night of spa and three-course dinner, and I'm still trying to understand where the money went.
The rooms were older than Gustav Vasa. Charming if you book a historical museum – less charming when you book a luxury beach spa.
The food was actually good, they should have. But if you want meat for the main course, you must apparently cough up 190 SEK extra per person. When you have already paid this price tag, it feels mostly like a bad joke.
And spa… No. This isn't a spa, it's a beach club with loud music and kids diving around with goggles. They also let day guests in, so it's crammed. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, it is about as relaxing as standing in line at Ullared on a pay Friday.
The pool selection is also surprisingly small. I have been to a spa that cost a third of the price and still been bigger, calmer and much better.
Trip highlights? Swimming in the sea – and going home.
In retrospect, it would have been a greater pleasure to book a room at Scandic and throw the remaining SEK 3,000 into the nearest lake. At least the experience would have been cheaper.
For this price, there are significantly better options. I hope this review makes someone think one more time before they book. This was, unfortunately, embarrassingly bad.

Hej och tack för att du tog dig tid att skriva, även om det gör ont att läsa att vistelsen landade så långt från förväntningarna.
Roligt ändå att maten och havet föll dig i smaken. Synpunkten på tillägget för kött tar vi med oss till menyarbetet, det är ärlig och värdefull feedback.
Vi förstår att det inte passar alla och för den som söker stillhet finns lugnare avdelningar som eldrelaxen och Safirpoolen. Där hade vi gärna guidat er rätt och det gör vi gärna om ni ger oss en ny chans.

Terrible and expensive
This stay was definitely not worth the money.
We paid 12,000 for two days.
The spa experience itself was good where we had ordered ivery.
We ordered a massage each and it was one of the worst massages (if you can call it that) it was more of an oil lubrication and during the whole treatment he was more busy putting hot pillows on me than massaging.
What you can't call a massage in any way.
The pool area outside was almost a children's pool. Unfortunately, we hadn’t checked it before... so if you want to relax without kids, it’s not Falkenberg.
Restaurant itself (both 2)
We stood for 7-10 minutes before someone showed us to our table.
The food in both places is good but the service was there nothing of.
Breakfast was definitely not something to recommend either.
The juice they stand and pour up from the cardboard in glass containers in front of the guests.
The fruit is in whole pieces (a whole apple or a whole banana)
