Value for money.
Small resort in a coastal seaside place. With a varm indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. We stayed in a small 35sqm apartment with kitchenette and our teens in another hotel room. Breakfast was basic with warm eggs omelette and bacon sausages, bread, cereals. Coffee. EV charger available. Friendly staff at bar-reception during check-in. Pillows of different hardness would be nice. Basic interior design and landscaping could be improved with local artisans to give some colours and Gotland vibes. Cleaning not on daily basis. All in all value for.money in a quite resort of the beaten tracks.

Avoid at all costs
We had our most disappointing travel experience ever here on a family holiday last week.. The website and pictures completely misrepresent the standard of the resort and accommodation. Ads on Booking.com and Online.reservations.com describe it as a 'luxury 5 star beach resort', whereas it is poorly maintained and closer to 2-3 star level. We had booked for 4 nights but tried to leave immediately. Some staff were charming and friendly, others rude and aggressive with no idea of how to handle customer complaints. We are still trying to obtain a refund via German management of the resort but no one even responds to emails.

Fröjel Spa & Resort - With family
We were a group of 16 people of whom 5 were children.
We were given the keys by a rather uninterested receptionist who did not introduce himself.
We got some different accommodations we with dogs got cottages and them other townhouses lgh.
The accommodation was really nice and comfortable beds, however, no wifi in the cabins or TV or for that matter air conditon, then it was very hard when it was as hot as it was.
We found out later that the room included 2 toilet rolls per household/cottage and 2 towels per person, so everyone had to go shopping for toilet paper.
And on the last day you had to throw away all your household garbage from the whole week, so end the week by going to a smelly garbage house full of flies and various.
Cleaning was supposed to be included but it was only when we left there.
There was no restaurant open except the day we celebrated a person who had a birthday when it was open just for us that night. Which was pre-ordered.
The bathhouse was very nice and incredibly warm both in water and air.
The breakfast was pretty lousy eg bacon that was fried / burned, but later in the week the quality was escalated gradually and was affordable.
After a dispute with a member of our group when he asked for jam for his son at breakfast, after that the whole group was treated as general outcasts the staff were more or less hostile to us.
As it says on the internet that there are about 60 restaurants within 1 km range of Fröjel Resort so not true, I think maximum 5-6 pcs.
This place is not something we recommend.

I'm sure there are better places to stay. I didn't feel welcome as a guest. Avoid.
Poor service, TV not working, restaurant closed. The woman at the reception did not give a good impression, cold and inhospitable. Said “shut up” to a guest who asked for a refill during breakfast. Staff don't say hello when we run into them. Nice pool and hot tub, very nice apartment to stay in. Nice environment.

Angry evening staff
Angry and unpleasant wait staff in the evening, heard how they talked rubbish about us guests out in the kitchen. Very unpleasant experience.
