Just perfect

Went away with my husband for valentines read the reviews and thought wow so many good reviews so thought this is the one for us. So glad we did have stayed at many hotels but find very few can take care of every need, from the room to the friendly helpful staff, but this one certainly does. Loved the location very central, loved the room stayed in the room with the balcony and the impressive horse. Everything you could ever need is in the room great bath, good size sinks, bath robes, slippers. Curtains are a good thickness if you need to sleep in, heating was great as it was minus 10. Bed was super comfy and great selection of pillows. Great sound proofing also. Restaurant was one of the best meals we have had but I will leave a review separate for that service was also very good. Can’t wait to go back again when the weather is warmer. Can’t think of anywhere better to stay if you are visiting Gothenburg. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The Avalon is centrally located and about 10 mins walk from the main railway station. It is comfortable, the staff members are pleasant and the breakfast is very good.

This hotel is truly fabulous--I don't think I've ever enjoyed a stay more, which is saying something. From the mid century details to the excellent staff and incredible breakfast, I have no complaints. Centrally located, convenient to all of the public transit (which is amazing in Gothenburg), and great food options and shopping abound (not that I did much shopping but one could). I will be staying here again.

Great location, good for restaurants and shopping and very walkable. Breakfast was good and the staff were knowledgable and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

My expectations were really high and this hotel met them all. The room was fairly big and the bathroom was very big and we had a little terrace of our own. This hotel pays a lot of attention to detail & the staff is very friendly and professional. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel in my life and was open til 11:00. Super fast elevator instead of the usual slow motion on most hotels. I'll be back 😎👌
