Nice small hotel with good location

Quiet small hotel with great location if you are going to Ven. Good room, pretty big. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good, but quite limited. Understandable, as it is a small hotel.

Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the harbour and a small raised up seating area by the window too,
The buffet breakfast was very good and the room was very comfortable.
Unfortunately the reception wasn’t open at all whilst we were there. We were texted a code to let ourselves in when we arrived (early afternoon on a Sunday). This all worked well, however we had hoped to hire bikes (which were advertised but had to be booked at reception) and so weren’t able to do so, nor to get any local information.
We’d definitely return as the room and location are great, but hadn’t realised mid-September was out of season and facilities would be limited.
Day trip to Ven was fabulous, and ice creams from Dockan Glass were delicious

Nice staff, hence two dots.

I'm sorry. Booked a year in advance and directly through the hotel, not through any platform such as Booking to ensure we would get good and quiet rooms.
A fan that could not be turned off buzzed all night in one of the rooms. There was no night staff to contact to change rooms. So the two dots for good reception when we arrived.

Inflexible

I'm disappointed. Originally we wanted to drive to the sixth and had booked 3 double rooms. At short notice, one person had to cancel. We still had to pay the same price for all double rooms. They say it wasn't even possible to calculate breakfast from the price.
