Very good campsite

Very nice quiet campsite with clean toilets , kitchen, washing machine
Beautiful shaded site

Always nice, but poor standard in the cottage. Vänerstuga where there is so much missing. Do they even know?

Amazing nature and so valuable for us with dog. The bistro is quite ok but the selection u shop is zero. But of course it is cheaper to shop elsewhere ☺️

Was only informed about the most expensive places.

This is a large campsite that is located nice to, but I felt deceived by the man who was at the reception when we arrived. I have to take some of the blame for not asking more questions, but I was tired and warm so my head wasn't quite with. He only gave me an option and it was out on the odds, he did not inform about other options and price differences. It turned out later that these were the most expensive places. There are some places that are only for mobile in the front row, there are very nice places. They were cheaper and we saw that there was a space available, we got no information about it. ( It was also available the next day ) There are also three bathing spaces inside the campsite, the one that is nearest where we stood is almost useless, the bridge is partially destroyed and there are large stones there, so not so easy to go out there. This was not informed, nor was it informed that the dog shower was under renovation and could not be used. Be obs when checking in and asking about the prices, not just accept the first proposal they come with. Otherwise the seats on the odden are nice and large, but it is far to the reception and the beaches, the advantage there is that there are no trees, further inside the campsite there are a lot of trees that can shade the sun, so if you want the most possible sun, it is not the best place to stand. The service building nearest to us was perfectly fine, but the cleanliness could clearly be better. On the positive side, the spaces are large and spacious, and where we stood it was flat and nice. It is also great to walk through the forest and into the city, but it takes about 25 minutes to walk. There is a small store in connection with the reception but they only have the most essential things, so be sure to shop before you get there.

Dog sh!t everywhere.

The whole area is infested with dog sh!t. Literally. It is disgusting. How the staff go to work here every day without doing something about the scourge of animal poo, I don’t know. Do not go there.

Do not recommend.

Would not recommend this campsite. Cleanliness and serviceminded staff. Dishwasher that was broken since 2021, hot water spreader that can not handle the pressure (which they are aware of since years back). The places you stood on were neither cleaned nor mowed before you got there, so it has tall grass and debris in various places.
Family rooms cannot be locked (which you can see from reviews in previous years too). The shower in here needs renovation ASAP when the tiles released and water is pushed out of the walls.
The drinks at the restaurant are a joke, you pay 140 SEK for a drink as small as a shot, and lack of ingredients.
Cleaning in service buildings, especially dishes / cooking is beneath contempt. Old cobwebs since God knows when, dead flies and splashes on walls. Despite contact with staff no compensation or understanding.
Otherwise, the campsite is nicely located on a promontory but good distance to town, too bad it is mismanaged.
Had undoubtedly put my money elsewhere if I knew this before.
No, first camp, do it right. We are your customers and pay to visit you, let it be worth it in that case.
