Definitely recommend! Amazing location in the heart of Gamla Stan. Steps away from museums, restaurants, and shops. Great communication and easy check in and out.

This apartment is a perfectly serviceable apartment in the heart of Gamla Stan (or old town) in Stockholm. You have to keep in mind that the entire town is very old, and this building is probably a few hundred years. it has been retrofitted, but still retains the feel of an old European apartment. Wooden plank floors, large windows, lots of natural light during the day, tight spaces. It is between two restaurants and can be noisy at night. We were on a side apartment, so that noise wasn't that bad. The garbage and glass collection at 6-7 in the morning was. Watch those narrow winding stairs. Don't want to fall down those!
There is one very large bedroom with a large double bed. Small kitchen and table. Microwave, Electric stove top. The pull out sofa is the sitting area and takes up a lot of space between the kitchen and bathroom/front door area when open. There are a ton of 220v EU style outlets everywhere, but no US 110v adapters or USB phone charging plugs, so make sure you bring your own if needed.
The bathroom is large and roomy, good shower pressure but can get water leakage by the floor as they are not totally sealed.
Overall, the apartment was fine. Nothing fancy. Just a place to crash. The location however is great. Right in the middle of tourist town. 10 minutes or less to either side of the Island. Easy to walk to almost anywhere of note in the vicinity.

Very good location. Convenient to see the city. Good size for the family. 2 suggestions - please change the internet router, very old and limiting the internet access. Would also suggest update bedroom floor, worries about wood splinters. Overall a good place to enjoy the city

The location is ideal, and the laundry was helpful amenity but there is a trade-off with early morning and late night noise level. There is a pub on ground floor so deliveries and trash cleanup in alleyway starts very early. They offer earplugs but not adequate if you intend on sleeping in.

Well located apartment in the middle of the old city. Spacious, some might think is needs some love (a few of what looks like a very old) as one or two wood floor planks need replacements, but it has a lot of charms. The door to the second room was broken, which remove any intimacy, espacially is someone is using the sofabad in the living room. The kitchen has the minumum necessary to cook (an electric kettle is missing though).
I recommend wihtout hesitation.
Note: probably an european std, but I had not sleep is such narrow beds (barely the width of my shoulder!) since my student years (decades ago) in the second bedroom.
