Very comfortable stay at this hotel. The room was of a high standard with a nice modern but retro feel. The hotel was nicely located to all the shops and amenities, and was easy to move around the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The morning breakfast was delightful and served buffet style, in a relaxed environment, catering for all tastes. I was made to feel very welcome by the staff at the hotel, and will definitely be returning to stay here again in the future.

Well laid-out room, openable windows, sm fridge/kettle/nespresso, lots of storage & places to “put stuff” (hooks, drawers, shelves etc) heated bathroom floors ❤️ quiet except some light traffic noise. Bed was a bit soft for me but OK for my partner. Good WiFi, places to work in the lobby, b’fast was amazing in variety with fresh fruit, a gazillion types of bread, numerous good GF & veg/vegan options too and refreshed frequently. Helpful staff; altogether a great place for a busy work-week.

Scrap Hotel

Let's start with the positive. The reception was friendly and accommodating. There is a garage which costs about 20€ a night and is ok. That was it, though. There is nothing in the booking that says it is being renovated and it can be noisy. The shower runs all night without you being able to stop it for whatever reason. Beds have no mattress but only toppers for sleeping absolutely impossible such. Toilet and shower are on 2sqm accordingly it smells like kloake even in the whole room. Rooms are noisy and not even worth 3 stars.

Umeå revisited

Perfect and central location but also very quiet surroundings. Got an upgrade to a newly renovated suite with it's own sauna that can seat up to four persons. The bathroom has both shower and a large tub. Lovely gesture and fantastic rooms to stay and sleep in.
