Beautiful

It’s a really beautiful location right on the water, you can swim when it is warmer. It’s such a relaxing environment, it’s perfect if you want to stay somewhere out of the city but be close enough to get there easily!
I would recommend this place to couples, families, groups, everyone.
The food is great which, as a vegetarian, is not always easy to find! They were very accommodating, friendly staff. I really cannot praise enough!
Great place to stay if you are visiting from somewhere or even if you are from Uppsala and want to get out of the city!

Only cold water in the morning so I didn’t get my shower
Breakfast from 8:30 at more than 200 sek really means no breakfast serving

Cute out of way location, great find

We were looking for place outside of city of Uppsala and found this on hotels.com. Hotel is a collection of buildings and cabins on a small lake. Small problem checking in, owner didn't speak English but she quickly got her young daughter who understood perfectly. Our room was a twin room, very spacious with couch, table , desk & chair. Had microwave & refrig which is always nice to find. We went for walk on property. Nice quiet lake, boats & boat house. Place looks like it could host large receptions or conferences but we were only persons there. Did not add on breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

Far from civilization - a plus point

We stayed there for one nigt during on our first day in Sweden. Great location, in the middle of nowhere - a perfect spot for everyone who wants to escape the fast pace of the city.
It's not a classic hotel, more like a little bungalow village, as the rooms are located inside small houses around the central building. But its nice to wake up next morning, exit your room and immediately be outside in the fresh air.
The reataurant is located inside the central building. It relatively small, for 60 people tops. The food was allright, nothing special, only traditional swedish dishes, but in a very nice, and domestic atmosphere.
Next to the complex is a small lake, where you can take a dip, or just walk along the jetty.

Relaxing location, great escape from the city

Food is really great. Well above expectations! But keep in mind that you might have to pre-order it. Staff are friendly and service-minded. The room-standard is simple cottage-style and delivers what it is supposed to.
Room was a bit cold and the firewood was kind of wet, so it wasn't super easy to start a fire in the open fireplace.
