Nice- somewhat older hotel

Traveling to a hotel in a smaller town in Sweden can be somewhat risky. They are often more rundown than hotels in bigger citys. This hotel has new nice renovated rooms and not so nice other areas that need renovations. The room itself was very clean. It had everything I needed for my short stay. Small-isch room, but it did the trick. The bathroom was very nice, clean and also renovated to a good standard, Hard beds, but at least it did not kill my back during the night. Very nice front-desk staff, but the entrance also needs to be renovated. Free parking. I had no time to eat at the hotel so can,t say anything about that, Would I stay here again ? Yes !

Good for kids

Breakfast ok. Too bad the pool was closed. The children's spaces were good, good place for table tennis. Great surfaces for football and other outdoor games. Good location for transit. Recommended.

We arrived at the hotel shortly after 3 p.m.; to get a room immediately, we would have had to pay a 200 SEK early check-in fee. We decided not to pay it for the sake of less than an hour, but by 4 p.m., there was already a line at the reception that kept growing. Even at 8 p.m., the hotel lobby was packed with guests waiting for their rooms, and the line extended all the way outside.
Unimaginable chaos.
Poor room amenities; a small desk fan served as the air conditioning, and there was no kettle.
Plenty of parking space and easy access. The only positive aspects of this visit.

Don't buy the kids band!

We were recommended to buy a kids band for our son as he would get free access to popcorn, drink and ice cream and pancake party for breakfast. The ones we didn't know were juice or milk, and the popsicle consisted of a popsicle on a stick. Breakfast was standard in the breakfast buffet which everyone had access to.
The bath and sauna were under renovation and the room had poor ventilation..
BUT the food served and the breakfast was incredible so it raised the grades. We couldn't have wanted better food!
