River view in the centre of town

I booked the single room with a river view.
The room is small, but very well designed to make the most use of the space. The balcony overlooks the Rhine with a great view to the Münster in one direction and Mittlerebrücke in the other.
The hotel is about 2 minutes' walk from the Kleinbasel side of Mittlerebrücke (the Middle Bridge).
Each floor has a landing area with a fridge containing complimentary soft drinks, and the ubiquitous Nespresso machine.
My stay coincided with the Floss music festival which one can see from the balcony, or in less than 60 seconds from room to riverside.
I was, and still am, really impressed that one can get a hotel in central Basel, with a riverside balcony for a pretty good price.

Excellent location, and extraordinary service.

Excellent location, and excellent service. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was something which made this hotel extraordinary - I always note on my hotel bookings that I am vegan, something which other hotels never pick-up on, but the staff at Krafft Hotel had specially bought me a selection of vegan options for breakfast. It was so lovely. Outstanding service. Thank you!

Hotel is easy to find and situated in a convenient location right off the waterway.
The rooms were bare modern and the bed was excellent.

Riverview is highly recommended

We stayed in a river view with a single balcony.
The hotels in Switzerland are all kept clean and feel good.
The balcony was well separated from both sides by a wall and was comfortable with few bugs. Having a drink on the balcony and taking in the beautiful scenery will be a fulfilling experience.
Water, coffee, pots, etc. are available in a common space in the center of the floor, and each person can pick them up. I didn't feel comfortable going outside the room to go to bed, but it's only a few steps from the room, so it's not that inconvenient. It's also good to meet and greet other customers.
Anyway, the balcony and the view of the Rhine were amazing.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was perfectly adequate for our one night stay . Would just say everything in the room was on the low side so I found it a little difficult with my mobility issues. Had room service and our food was tasty and it arrived in an acceptable time.
