Beautiful place
Historic place, wonderful gardens. Had a wonderful time here. Short walk to the lake, and the hotel is well situated to all amenities.

It was not nice.
There is not always someone at the reception; I am sorry to say it, but the staff is not very nice.
The air conditioning cannot be adjusted; you either die of cold or else of heat.
There is too much noise, I stayed for 2 days and they did not give me a room where the noise was better.
There is no fridge, not even to heat up water.
Also, I know they are not obligated, but they do not have a cell phone charger.
Too bad.

Back to the 1920ies
the rooms as well as the common living rooms are full of antiquities. It feels a bit like visiting an old english aunt.
our room was very large and we stayed there with two kids. the beds were ok and everything clean.
i was a bit stressed in fear my kids would break something but the nuns liked them very much.
i would not recommend this hotel for a couple in search of a romantic place ;-)
