Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable and located in a perfect spot of the city.

Not a 4-star hotel

When booking the room “North View”, know that in fact the view is for a cemetery. If you choose the hotel, please view matterhorn.
The hotel is well located, but it is quite simple. By no means is a 4-star hotel!
Positive points: location; shuttle from
Train station; reception boy's sympathy and staff at breakfast.
Negatives: Very small room overlooking the cemetery (North view); very weak breakfast, with little choice.

Great spot in central Zermatt!

First time at the Beau-Rivage and would highly recommend — excellent service from friendly staff, clean and charming rooms, easy-access ski-room and a desirable location right next to the "cheese bus" free bus stops going to either the Matterhorn gondola or the Sunnega funicular. Free shuttle service to/from the train station. In the heart of downtown Zermatt yet quiet and peaceful, with those incredible Matterhorn views!

Pleasant stay

Great hotel in a central location. At Beau-Rivage, hospitality is still lived. In addition to the spacious rooms and the rich breakfast, the kindness of the staff is particularly worth mentioning. The restaurant “Chez Max Julen” embedded in the hotel is also highly recommended.

Gem of a Hotel in Zermatt

We were absolutely delighted with our 3N stay at the Beu-Rivage Zermatt; from the complimentary pick up - drop at the Rail Station; large clean rooms with a view; excellent linen on a very comfortable bed; a charming sit out at the lobby level with great sunshine and a marvelous view of the Matterhorn up real close. Personalised service by the Owner's Son and the ONLY HOTEL in our 28 day trip across Italy and Switzerland where we were offered EGGS TO ORDER for Breakfast. The convenient location made it super easy to just walk to to all the attractions in Zermatt. Definitely a must stay with great value for money, negligible noise level and a lively atmosphere.
