Near temple complexes
Quiet, cozy, nice outdoor area and pleasant lobby.
Breakfast is basic (toast, flakes, bananas). Any water, tea or coffee except at breakfast.
Lady at reception speaks only very broken English. Beds great, good mattress.

Quiet, clean and comfortable
Very clean and tidy hostel in a great location. My bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast provided was just tea, coffee and toast with spreads, very basic. Wifi worked ok and the hostel hires out bicycles and motorcycles for a very reasonable rate. The only reason I did not give this hostel a 5 star rating is because there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. Basic hygiene like handsoap should always be provided.

I’m backpacking Southeast Asia and I got the worst night’s sleep here due to noise out of any hostel so far. Noise traveled between rooms so much that it sounded like people in the next room were in my room. They had loud conversations late at night and played loud music at 7 in the morning. The bed was comfortable so I guess if you’re a heavy sleeper it will be fine. I just could not believe how much the noise carried. I’ve slept better at party hostels. Plus when I checked in (at normal hours) there was no one at reception so I just had to sit there for awhile. There is also no hand soap in the bathrooms which is a pet peeve of mine. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay.
Very nice hostel, everything is super clean and the host does everything to make you feel comfortable. He gave us information on getting around and where to eat at night. Bikes for rent to discover the city.
One tip: maybe a little more possibilities during breakfast would be nice, but for this price, we absolutely cannot complain. Would certainly book again/recommend to a friend!

Best hostel in Ayutthaya
Wow. The best word to describe Banchan hostel. I been to Ayutthaya, thailand many time in my life, but this the first time I stay here. First of all the accommodations was very clean and comfortable. Secondly the staff as very kind and generous. Third and most important to me was the location and easy access to Ayutthaya ancient temple and food market. Thank you again for the great stay
