Highly recommend
My wife and I stayed there. The people at the desk speak English. I left my wallet in a gift shop down the street. I called them and they went and checked. They actually got my wallet. They placed it in a package for me and had a taxi deliver it to me at the airport. I plan on going back to phuket and I'm definitely staying there again. It is within a short walk of the beach and the night life.

not satisfied
first of all the room was not clean, the dirty toilet was more black than white. the staff was very unfriendly they came into our room to ask for check out a few days before we leave and at the day we leave they came asking 3 hours before check out time, knocking at the door and they just opened the door, no privacy. we booked tours at the guesthouse and had a private taxi driver, after that they have calculated 500 Baht to much. when we asked for what are this 500Baht they get angry. the price and the place was ok, but this was the only good thing at this guesthouse.

So happy to be there
I have booked 2 rooms there. Whenever we went there, we saw the owner "Mou Mou" was sitting there with another reception girl. She was too friendly and too helpful, even her husband "Tha" who is also a gentleman and he helped us to guide to visit for whole city. He went with us with his car and showed us the whole city.Really without his help it could never be possible. Now, about the place. I think it's a very good place to stay. Beach and Bangla road is just 6-7 minute to walk.
So I would recommend to every one to stay there. This would be very pleasure to stay there.

Not worth it
I've stayed at this guest house a couple of times but my most recent experience will ensure it will be my last visit. I was first given a room with only one working light. The lady from reception told me she would be back to replace one of the bulbs, but I was so tired and was only staying overnight, so I told her never mind. Unfortunately, after about 20 minutes of waiting for the air conditioner to kick in, I realized it was not working. Back down 3 flights of stairs and across the street to reception. The Thai lady who works there is nice enough (the Japanese couple who appear to own it normally tap away on their computers, completely ignoring you...unless maybe if you're Japanese) and showed me to another room in the same building as the office/travel agency. After unpacking, I realized there was no water in the bathroom. Back down to reception. The Thai lady explained that it was a temporary outage and that it would be restored shortly. Almost 45 minutes later, I went BACK to reception for an update and was informed the water had been restored, but it seems that my particular room was affected by a non-working pump. She offered another room for me to shower in, but I wasn't in the mood to spend the night in a room with no water while having to shower in another. So off we went to see a third room. This one had water, but had the ceiling in the bathroom completely torn up and the windows faced a blast of neon that the thin curtains were incapable of covering. At this point I asked the friendly Thai lady if she would return my money so I could look for another hotel at 10:30pm. She was nice enough (embarrassed enough?) and obliged.
It's quite a shame, because this guest house has an ideal location but with all the competition nearby and during a very slow period in Phuket when most rooms are empty, there's no reason to endure rooms with bad maintenance (and not even a sliver of soap in the bathrooms). I assume they are more concerned with the travel agency and massage which are part of the business they run.
The "free wi-fi" took several attempts using several passwords provided by the staff before it connected.

Excelente custo-beneficio, seguro, hi-fi bom, limpo e barato. Staff atencioso, e a japonese lady eh muito atenciosa, sempre sorridente. Eles tambem tem agencia de viagens que organiza passeios pelas ilhas, dando dicas de tudo. Excelente localizacao, a 6 minutos a pe da praia e da famosa Banga Road onde rola de tudo.
