I enjoyed my coffee in the morning with full view of Patong before doing my wake up routine with a swim in the Jacuzi. I absolutely loved this hotel, and is without doubt my best hotel stay. Staff were authentically friendly and always helpful. Highly recommended!

Avoid This Hotel – Extremely Disappointing Experience.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences my group and I have ever had. We ended up leaving after just two days and relocating to a far better hotel.
From the outset, the property failed to meet even basic expectations, let alone the five-star standard it claims. In reality, it felt closer to a two-star experience.
Check-in & Customer Service
We were not greeted warmly upon arrival. During check-in, we were given paperwork containing another guest’s personal details, which we had to correct ourselves—an obvious and serious breach of data protection standards. The staff member assisting us was dismissive, unhelpful, and unable to provide even basic information about hotel facilities such as the shuttle service.
We were also asked to provide a 5,000 THB cash deposit or surrender a passport—neither of which had been disclosed at booking. Requesting a passport as security is unreasonable and raises serious concerns about personal data safety. In all my previous travel experiences, deposits have always been handled via card.
Room & Facilities
We booked two rooms but were only given one key card per room, which is impractical for shared occupancy. Additional cards had to be requested. Worse still, the key cards stopped working within the first day, forcing repeated trips to reception—in a hotel with no lift.
Accessibility was poor overall. The shuttle drop-off point was inconvenient, and with no visible lifts, we had to carry luggage up and down approximately 50 steps.
The rooms themselves were in unacceptable condition:
Requested items like slippers and an iron were not provided
Air conditioning units were visibly dirty and circulated dust
Bed sheets and pillows had marks, raising hygiene concerns
The safe was faulty, showing constant error messages
The kettle contained leftover water and debris
The kitchen area included appliances but no utensils or cutlery, and the TV volume could not be properly adjusted.
Bathroom & Cleanliness
The bathroom was in very poor condition, with mould, damaged fixtures, and drainage issues that caused water to pool. There was no proper shower screen, resulting in water spreading across the floor, and the bath mat was unhygienic.
Facilities & Services
The communal pool area had loose tiles, posing a clear safety hazard. The breakfast offering was also well below standard.
The shuttle service to Bangla Road was unreliable—we waited at the agreed time and location, but the driver never arrived.
Handling of Complaints
When we raised concerns and requested a room change, we were shown an equally poor alternative and told the hotel was fully booked. We asked multiple times to speak to a manager and were told repeatedly none was available. Only on our fourth attempt were we able to speak with one.
After informing them we planned to leave, we were suddenly told another room was available—an inconsistency that further undermined trust.
Check-out Concerns
At check-out, we were asked to sign a document stating the hotel would not be held liable, which added to the overall concern about their practices.
Final Verdict
This hotel falls far below the standards it advertises. Between the poor cleanliness, lack of professionalism, safety concerns, and misleading information, I strongly advise to avoid staying here.
I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy, stay clear and you’ll be glad you did.
