I've stayed here on 3 separate occasions, including this month & haven't been disappointed. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with daily maid service & breakfast offerings (extra charge). They also have some basic snacks and drinks in the lobby, if you don't want to trek all the way to a 7-11, offering beer, soda, & also instant noodles (with a nearby hot water dispenser). English language can be a challenge for the front desk staff, but with hand signals & Google Translate, I was able to get by ok. The rooms are basic, but quite clean & comfy. Overall, I'm happy & satisfied with my 3rd stay here.

Staff were fantastic, and the owner was not. Needed to check out 3 days early because I found a rental location quicker than expected. I checked out at 9 am, well before the 12pm checkout time.
Staff tried to help me, but they said it was up to the owner. They helped me to try and revise booking through trip.com.
I did all this, and it was rejected later that day.
Once again, the staff were amazing, can't say the same about the owner.

There’s still room for improvement

Too bad the hotel’s location is great: right in the city but secluded enough to shield from the daily commotions. My complaints: the basic necessities have to be bought at the reception desk. My room was infested with mosquitoes! Enough said. Three stars is a generous rating indeed.

Nice hotel in NW Ubon.

The map location on Trip Advisor, as of today, is way off & hopefully my edit request will correct that. I've stayed here on 3 separate occasions, including this month & haven't been disappointed. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with daily maid service & breakfast offerings (extra charge). They also have some basic snacks and drinks in the lobby, if you don't want to trek all the way to a 7-11, offering beer, soda, & also instant noodles (with a nearby hot water dispenser). English language can be a challenge for the front desk staff, but with hand signals & Google Translate, I was able to get by ok. The rooms are basic, but quite clean & comfy. For some reason the Trip Advisor listing won't show the hotel's rates, but you can book via any major booking sight (Agoda, Hotels.com, Expedia, etc). Overall, I'm happy & satisfied with my 3rd stay here.
