Good vibes

The stay was wonderful, close to the beach. The only downsides were the uncomfortable pillows and the lack of a hairdryer or mini toiletries in the hotel room.

Oasis by the hot port city of Monastir (Tunisia)

Hotel is located near the city of Monastir (15min taxi ride from city center).
Hotel is by the main road, but noise (cars, traffic, honking) wont reach you because rooms are located further from the street direction to the sea.
It is a smaller family-styled hotel. Dont excpect high level of luxury. It is still going through renovation.
Reception is fully renovated, it shines as a beacon of whole hotel.
Pool with pool area were very nice. Lots of options to sit, lay and relax (chairs, tables, sun-beds) even seats in the pool!
Bar need more renovation tho, machines/dispensers (non alcoholic beverages) were faulty and half of the time were missing either sirup or water. Barman needed to restart them several times a day.
I missed airconditioned area by the pool, there was place around pool-table (unfortunately broken and not beeing able to play/have use of it).
Rooms were to our need, large enough beds, TV, AC (our was leaking all over balcony). Since we used it mostly for drying clothes/towels we didnt mind it much.
Pool is cleaned daily (sometimes it could do with cleaning in the evening too). Rooms were mopped, trash taken out. If you need another shampoo, tower or toilet paper you need to ask for it (sometimes several times).
My favourite place of whole hotel was beach. It was nicely tidied up by security guy who safe-guard there, he helps with sun-beds and also rakes the beach of trash.
Be aware if you stroll from the private hotel beach direction of Sousse/Monastir, there is a lot of trash and camel/horse "leftovers" bacuse they walk them by the lenght of the beach (as attraction).
I enjoyed our trip, 1400€ for two adults with all inclusive food/beverages for a week was worth it.
Reccomendation for hotel:
- airconditioned area by the pool where billiard (pool-table) is, also fix the pool table
- use salt in your dishes (or have salt/pepper on every table) not 3 salt shakers for whole restaurant
- more regular meat chices (roasted chicken, schnitzel, chicken strips) daily, because I had difficulty to pick local dishes (mostly meat) because of aroma/taste/spicy-ness

Amazing staff

Hotel staff were absolutely unbelievable however there are some unfinished works going on. There is only the one bar that served warm beer and ice seemed to be at a premium for cocktails. There seems to be a snack bar under construction and was not ready. Food was very basic but it was basically the same foods every day aimed more towards the locals so if you are a fussy eater it may not be for you or maybe there is work going on behind the scenes here too.
rooms were spotless and staff couldn't do enough for you. Food and drink was just not too good nor was the beach front of the hotel.
relaxed environment and air con in rooms was the best I have experienced making sleep great.

Great customer service

The hotel was very new and hotel staff were very attentive and catered to our every need. Very helpful staff.
