Great hotel, lovely people. Not much around though.
Came to Turkey for some dental work and stayed at the Mercure for a week. Lovely hotel, with adjacent restaurant. We were B&B and although some of the items on the breakfast buffet were questionable (we’re English) there was always something nice to eat, especially the omelette station who would also do us scrambled eggs, pool was nice, always managed to get a bed, although others wasn’t so lucky. Free pool towels, also free sun lounger, towel and parasol down at the beach behind the hotel. Not much to do around the area of Konyaalti tbh, but loads of other guests were having dental / hair treatments so got chatting to a lot of people who were lovely. Would defo stay again, their hotel cat was also lovely.

Hotel selling reduced mobility rooms for money!
The most unpleasant hotel I've ever had in my life! I arrived at the hotel one hour at night and went to my room. Large shuttle car in front of the darkest in the hallway! The door opens out, but hits the shuttle cart. The closet is half-sized, something weird... Once in the bathroom, I realized that they gave me an accessible room arranged for those with special needs. You have to sit in a mirror, you have to dip in a closet. 100% filled and they haven’t fixed it! Despite my complaints, that big car is still at my doorstep. I blame the sales team who sell me a room like this to get money!

Good place
Nice place. Pretty good location, not on the waterfront but not set back too far. On the beach might have been better but would then have had a very different vibe and been busier and noisier. Breakfast was very good, nice selection and nice place to eat. The pool was good too, well used but not busy and had a 'grown up' feel with adults on loungers rather than kids splashing around and shrieking but that was just our experience. Plenty of restaurant choices on the doorstep.

out of major touristic flows
We had to go to Turkey to mix some business with pleasure. So wanted to stay out of major touristic flows. This hotel was recommended to us by concierge service as a good combination of quality/value for money/peace. The hotel is brand new. Our room was clean. Nevertheless, we couldn’t finally get how lights switch on and off. Breakfast was buffet with good variety. Omelette station was doing a great job. Some people here credited work of service staff at breakfast. We haven’t been offered any tea/coffee or anything during our 6 days stay. Noticed that different people get different treatment from waiters. That was not a problem with us. the hotel is surrounded by a variety of very descent restaurants for every choice for better prices . Overall, the place fit our purpose and provided good combination of value for money.

Instructions on “how to ruin your vacation”
Hotel photos match reality. For a very short stay is acceptable. I'm sharing my impressions after a three-week vacation at this hotel. The cover is beautiful. Next... which will ruin your holiday. The air conditioning in the room goes off 15 minutes after you leave. On my return in the sauna room. The sea view room is wonderful, but the windows are so dirty that the “picture” is in a grey haze. The door to the rooms closes with a decent effort. Yes, every day they change the bed and towels, clean the room. In the upper floor rooms with sea views, you will periodically “enjoy” the flavors of the kitchen, because the hoods will provide you with this “pleasure” at night. Neither at the time of booking nor at the time of check-in, I was not notified that the Babil Beach Pay Area is included in the hotel price. This information is not available on booking. I found out from a local woman on the beach, which I was paying for. Every morning, I greeted the hotel clerks and no one offered me a ticket to visit the beach. I understand when you check in, it happens, but for almost three weeks, no one ever remembered??? As a result, my attempt, at the end of my vacation, to go to the beach with a hotel ticket ended with the hotel manager in charge of the catering, accompanying me to Babil and communicating with the beach staff. The reason - the hotel on the beach is assigned places, uncomfortable and not properly provided with umbrellas. Special thanks to this man who solved the issue. Hotel Ömer administrator, ignored my appeal. I wasn't asking for a solution to my personal problem, I was asking why hotel guests were given seats at the end of the beach on the beach? An attempt to communicate with the hotel manager about reimbursing the cost of already paid for stays on the beach by arranging for me to transfer to the airport ended with his conclusion - make a claim against the beach! Total transfer is about 40th, beach payment is about 200th. Highest level of customer focus! And yet, I thank Ataberk, Eren, Sercan and Natalie for their very comfortable communication! To the hotel manager, only my outrage!
