Beautiful 5 days

Flying with my husband for 5 days in Istanbul, the goal was tourism, initially knew that we would not sit in the room. This hotel was perfect for our requests. Beautiful location, included breakfasts (most usual, I don't know who eats how at home, egg, cheese, vegetables, bread and toppings), towels and bath amenities are available, all excellent. Very nice smiley people. The view from the terrace of the Bosphorus is beautiful. If I go back to Istanbul, I will definitely stay with you. Thank you ❤️

I expected more from the place, that only less was cleaner or that they had a better negotiation with the guests.

Dirty sheets, dirty room, dirty bathroom.
They are rude and do not make the slightest question of solving the problems presented!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.

The worst hostel I have ever stayed in, PLEASE stay away from this hostel unless you would like to get scolded by the reception, or if you would like to sleep on a bed with cockroaches and bugs on your side.
First and foremost, cockroaches and bugs on the bed and in lockers, as shown in the photo.
As for the terrible attitudes of the reception, I was extremely disturbed and terrified of the level of unprofessionalness. I have never received such an attitude in my whole life of staying at any accommodation.
The first night I got there, there was a reception who apparently has no idea what he was up to. He did not know how to operate the card machine and turned to me and ask for assistance. He told me to pay on another day given he did not know how payment works.
Then comes the second day when I reminded the reception, who named Adam, that I have yet to pay for my stay. The reception insisted that I have to pay in cash, while it is clearly stated on the booking page that card is accepted.
He then told me to give him my credit crad, in an extremely disturbing manner. Given my credit card was only available in digital wallet, I explained that I was unable to give him a physical card.
He then threatened to ‘kick me out of the hostel’ unless I pay for my stay in cash.
After all the drama, he eventually figured out how to get the payment without forcing me to pay in cash or a physical card.
Utter stupidity.
I was utterly shocked and offended by this horrendous service. With utmost seriousness, I demand apology from this hostel for not only disobeying its own policy, but also for the horrible customer service.
I have no clue how this hostel got such a decent review score on different platforms since nothing in fact correspond to what is displayed on the website. This stay deserve not even one star.

A great first solo travel experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Antique hostel staff were friendly and helpful the location is perfect for walking around and are near almost everything to be seen. the room was quite small making it difficult to move around at times but was comfortable. It was clean and the atmosphere was great.

They treated us well allowed us to enter the time we arrived. It is super good if you need to rest and certainly be in a good location.
