Clean rooms, helpful staff, and a great location. We had a better stay than we expected. I recommend it.

Good, but not great.

We had a pretty good time! It's not exactly on the square, but on a less frequented side street, and upon arrival, we didn't like it much; the lobby leaves a bit to be desired, but the rooms, although a bit small, are clean and well-furnished. The mattress is comfortable and the shower is huge. I would not return there for just two reasons: the view from the room is between one building and another, and below it looks like a dump. The water on the first day was not warm enough; we pointed it out, and indeed on the second day the temperature was a little better, but on the third day it was like the first. If it is very hot, that’s fine, but if you don’t get nice days, washing with barely lukewarm water is not acceptable.

Excellent

My stay at La Serena was really nice. The place we stayed was so comfortable, clean and enjoyable. The location, especially in a quiet area, was one of the biggest perks of the holiday. It was loose, but also walkable to the beach and downtown.
The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the overall everything was attentive. Wake up in the mornings and having breakfast in a serene setting provided a peaceful start to your day. The staff were friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home.
By day, it was a delight to walk on the beach and in the evening, watch the sunset. The atmosphere in the city is already quite calm and relaxing, and the place we stayed supported this feeling. It''s definitely convenient for those who want to stay long, ideal for both relaxation and exploring the surroundings.
Overall, my time at La Serena was peaceful, comfortable and enjoyable. I recommend Recommendation with confidence to anyone seeking a quiet, clean, and comfortable stay.

Don't stay here

This is a horrible hotel. They also seem to have left a fake 5* trip.com review in my name here. Absolutely terrible business practice

The hotel doesn't pull 4 stars!

The hotel doesn't pull 4 stars at all! Location is good, near Taksim Square!
But... we checked in with a couple, missing a towel, not enough toilet paper, coffee only 1 bag! The room is poorly cleaned, there's garbage from previous tenants in the closet, the floor, the corners are all shabby! We're disappointed!
