Beautiful stay in the heart of Istanbul!
My recent stay at this charming and cozy hotel in Istanbul was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived I immediately felt welcome thanks to the warm welcome. The involvement and friendliness of the owners were clearly noticeable in everything they did. It was clear that they did everything they could to ensure optimal comfort for their guests.
The location of the hotel is truly ideal. In just a five-minute walk you will be in the bustling Istiklal Street, one of the most famous and lively streets in the city. Public transport is also perfectly accessible: metro and bus stops are within walking distance, making it very easy to explore the rest of Istanbul.
The rooms were clean and tidy, something I find very important during my travels. The furnishings were stylish and comfortable, which contributed to a very pleasant stay. Every day it was a pleasure to return to the hotel, where I discussed the course of my day with a cup of tea and a lot of fun with the owners.
The hospitality of the owners was truly heart-warming. They were always ready to help, gave valuable tips about the city and made sure I didn't lack anything. Their genuine friendliness and attention to details really made me feel at home.
In short, this hotel is an absolute must for anyone who wants to explore Istanbul and at the same time enjoy a comfortable and cordial stay. I will definitely come back here again!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE — Absolutely Disgusting and Unsafe
Do not be fooled by the photos or high ratings. Our 5-night stay was a complete nightmare. We were moved through four different rooms (302, 101, 403 and 201) because of serious hygiene, safety, and maintenance problems.
The rooms are tiny, extremely dirty, and badly maintained. We found a severe cockroach infestation, with cockroaches coming out from inside the bathroom walls. Management initially denied the problem until we showed them photographic evidence. They didn’t even have basic insect spray, so I had to buy my own. After spraying, more cockroaches appeared. In another room, we found a live cockroach inside the electric kettle.
There were also serious electrical and fire hazards, including exposed wiring, unsafe extension plugs, and questionable smoke detector wiring. Furniture was broken and worn out, and the walls were damaged, chipped, and poorly repaired.
To make matters worse, staff smoked cigarettes and the smell constantly reached our rooms.
When we asked for a cancellation and refund because the conditions were clearly unacceptable, management refused and claimed that nobody had ever complained before. Instead of fixing anything, they simply kept shuffling us from one tiny, dirty room to another, even putting us in a staff room.
This was supposed to be a trip to Istanbul for a wedding, but this hotel completely ruined our experience. The conditions were unacceptable, unhygienic, and unsafe. We strongly recommend staying somewhere else.
