Disgrace

Despite having a reservation, they said there were no rooms available. They said the hotel was completely full. When we showed them the reservation documents, they also stated that there was a mistake. I definitely don't recommend it; you should choose different places for the same price.

Avoid this hotel

So far our stay is dreadful. After a full day of traveling we checked in to a hotel room with no AC “because it’s turned off for the winter.” Unfortunately, it’s 75 degrees outside and some rooms are on the west side. All of our group, most of whom are couples, have a single bath towel and a single hand towel. Dried blus soap is pooled in my bathroom floor, telling me it hasn’t been mopped. There are no luggage racks so suitcases sit on the floor.

Clean, reasonably quiet.

We spent one night here. The room was clean and reasonably quiet. The breakfast was good. The restaurant staff was friendly. Only complaint was that while there were two of us in the room, only one towel was in the bathroom when we checked it. Unfortunately the clerk at the front desk didn't speak English. We finally got her to understand the problem and she fixed it. The hotel is within easy walking distance to a large number of restaurants. Konya is a bit more religious than other towns we visited and alcohol in restaurants or stores was almost non-existent. We did hear that there was a store within a few blocks that carried alcohol, but we didn't know about it until later.
