Everything was great.

Our room was number 404. We had an authentic and comfortable experience in a room with a jacuzzi. It was so delicious that we won't need to look for anything else to eat. At night, both the music and the view are beautiful. Everyone is friendly and gives the feeling that we are a family. The gentleman at reception was very attentive and always helpful. Very close to all locations. Thank you everyone.

The best hotel for the network –and the best pick

We went in December and opted for a room with a pool, our room was immaculately clean and the central heating system was very warm. The view from the hotel location was very nice. Hotel manager Mr. Ferdi welcomed and welcomed me very beautifully until we left the hotel. This was the best hotel I have stayed in Cappadocia and Zurich and was a hotel for any season of the year.

Everything you see is just a facade.

On March 18, 2026, my 5-year-old daughter, my wife, and I planned a lovely vacation. Our check-in at the hotel was nice; everything seemed normal. We had booked a room with a pool for my daughter so she could enjoy the water, but unfortunately, she wouldn't even dip her feet in because it was so cold. I tried to go in, and there were things floating in the water that looked like pieces of tissue paper. The surface of the water was oily; it hadn't been changed, and it was very cold. I only stayed for about 5 minutes. When it was time for my daughter's nap, I lifted the bedspread and saw a dirty, stained duvet covered with a flimsy piece of cloth, without even a button. They had a portable crib for my daughter, but instead, they used a baby crib without a mattress, just a piece of duvet under her and a sheet to cover her in that cold. By the time I complained, my daughter was already asleep. There weren't enough towels on our bed, and only one toilet paper was provided. I've never seen such a disgrace in any hotel. And it didn't end there... We said we wanted to change rooms or we would check out, and they helped us change rooms, but I said that the price of a room with a pool shouldn't be the same as a room with a jacuzzi, and I thought they agreed, so we stayed. The only flaw was that the air conditioning never worked at a warm temperature, and my three-day vacation was ruined by illness; I became seriously ill. They said the meals were complimentary, and we believed their sincerity and said okay. We arrived late to the hotel three days later and only ordered soup. I had ordered dinner and soup for my daughter one day, and now they charged us an extra 3,500 TL for one soup and one dinner upon checkout. A clay pot kebab costs 600 TL elsewhere, but we paid 900 TL. Also, a clay pot kebab broke right in front of us, and the food inside split in two, but I think they charged us separately because it didn't break in front of us the first day. The owner's daughter rudely yelled at my wife over parking; be careful, they have no gratitude, they just come and go. Whether you come or not, whether you're satisfied or not, they don't care. I'd like to talk about breakfast, but there was no hot food; just cheese, olives, honey, eggs, tomatoes, and cucumbers. And believe me, it was carelessly prepared. I mentioned this, and on the last day, they served uncooked börek (a type of pastry) in the same oil used for french fries. The sausage and egg dish was also cooked in the same oil, and the food was so greasy you couldn't even see it. I didn't even touch it. In short, it's a below-average place. I absolutely do not recommend it if you go as a family. It's not a place to go with children. We got sick from the cold, and I'm only writing this now because I've recovered. Please take my review into account. Don't think that what happened to me won't happen to you. Staying at a hotel in Ortahisar was a mistake, in my opinion, because there's nothing there except the Valley and the Castle. We went to places every day, and the hotel was very out of the way. My wife and I have been going there for years, and we've never stayed in Ortahisar before. I just wanted to try it, but it was a disastrous experience. I've written in detail, so it's up to you to decide what to do next.

Ambiance ahead of comfort

It''s got an interestingly decorated, slightly demoded rustic design that seniors might not prefer, with a little too much staircase with an incredibly large room. The ambience is good. Breakfast isn’t bad.
