Fantastic find.
First of all the restaurant. Wow! What fantastic food, beautifully cooked and well presented. I had a couple of meals with friends who came to join me for meals and all agreed that it is something very special. Worth a visit even if you are not staying.
My room was immaculate - clean and comfortable and looking out at the garden.
Not only are the rooms lovely and the food some of the best I have eaten anywhere in the world, Kolyba makes its own fruit Vodka. WOW WOW WOW- you have to try this. Many flavours but my personal favourite is plum.
All the staff were kind and helpful but Natasha stood out - she looked after every need, including arranging for a late supper after the restaurant had closed, for us to have after a long working day in the city. She was there early and late and made sure everything that could be done for us was taken care of with a friendly smile and a 'no problem' attitude.
I hadn't planned to visit Kiev but now I want to return at leisure and will head straight to Kolyba. While it is a little outside the main city, the taxis are inexpensive and I just loved being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

The food at the restaurant is just delicious and the service remarkable.
Highly recommended.

Пункт "Менеджер"
Заказывал по телефону столик в отдельном домике. (24.01 пн)
Было несколько вопросов.
Я спросил у менеджера, можно ли за человека какую-то сумму заплатить, что бы не нужно было платить за открытие бутылки алкоголя (180грн) - она мне ответила, что для такой маленькой компании такого НЕТу (нас было 5).
Спросил будет ли внутри домика тепло - ответила ДА. Результат было безумного холодно, пока мы не надышали сами)
Через несколько дней (26.01 ср) позвонил сделать предзаказ, в этот раз трубку взял трубку другой менеджер, она же мне сама предложила заказать больше, что бы с человека получилось 1200 грн и не нужно будет платить за открытие бутылки. Какое-то явное не совпадение.
При общении с менеджером, мне сказали, что мы можем сидеть сколько нам удобно.
Результат, закрыли кухню в 23.00 а туалет в 23.30. А сидеть мы действительно могли сколько угодно, только КААААК без этих потребностей?!
Не сказали, что берут за сервис 10%.
Пункт "Пунктуальность"
С менеджером сделал четкий предзаказ и договорились, что бы в 18.45 было холодное и салаты. В 19.00 - что бы были хачапури и в 19.15 были горячее.
Результат.
в 18:45 были холодные и только один салат.
шашлыки принесли в 19.55.
Как результат мы наелись закусками еще до шашлыка.
Пункт "Еда"
Второй менеджер очень рекомендовал заказать салат телятиной и баранину, мол это безумно вкусно.
Результат, салат действительно был вкусный а вот баранина вообще дно.
Заказывал отдельно селедку 2 порции, сразу уточнил, что бы эта селедка была без картошки, так как у них есть эта позиция.
Результат, селедка была с ---- к а р т о ш к о й.
Заказывал форшмак с селедки.
Результат, мне кажется, что это был какой-то салат и просто добавили сооовсем немного селедки.
По вкусу самое вкусное были грибы и салат с лисичками. Все остальное О Б Ы Ч Н О Е.
Пункт "Порцеонность"
Я конечно не мастер измерять количество грамм еды на глаз, но нам не докладывали еду практически в каждой позиции.
Вот только представьте, Вам приносят еду а вы сразу задаетесь вопросом "И это ВСЕ?".
Когда нам принесли шашлык, я на него посмотрел и задался вопросом - и это на 2 тыс грн?!
На фото стол еды за 6 тыс грн. Немного успели поесть его, но думаю что все и так понятно.
Второй чек не сохранил.
