Haven on the Nile - lives up to the name! Stunning

A special Place on the Nile
The Haven is one of the most memorable places to stay in Uganda.
Set in a stunning location on the Nile, it offers beautiful views, a peaceful atmosphere and the perfect escape from everyday life.
The accommodation is beautiful and full of character, while the staff are warm, welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. The food is consistently excellent, with a great selection of dishesl. the fresh juices were amazing particularly the fresh mango juice!
A particular highlight was the massage service, which is the ideal way to relax and fully unwind while enjoying the tranquillity of the surroundings.
Whether you're watching the river, enjoying a meal, or simply taking in the beauty of the setting, every moment feels special.
A wonderful combination of hospitality, outstanding food, relaxation and natural beauty. Highly recommend. My second visit but I will be back!

A Little Piece of Heaven by the Nile

My sisters and I had the absolute joy of staying at The Haven, and I don’t even know where to begin — this place is a true slice of heaven on earth. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a beautifully kept secret: lush, lovingly maintained grounds, the kind of quiet that settles your spirit, and that breathtaking, soul stirring view of the River Nile that you can’t quite capture in words. Everything about our stay felt intentional and warm. The rooms were spotless and fresh, the meals were delicious and prepared with such care, and the entire space radiated peace. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive — with a special shout out to Sarah, whose warmth made us feel right at home. The Haven exceeded every expectation we had. It’s rare to find a place that looks beautiful in photos and somehow feels even more magical in person. I’m already dreaming about my next vacation there. Worth every coin, worth every moment, and worth every mile travelled. If you’re looking for serenity, beauty, and a place that truly lives up to its name, The Haven is it. I would recommend it a thousand times over.

Top accommodation

Located directly on Lake Victoria. Wonderful location very friendly staff. They are concerned about your welfare and everything is relaxed. The bungalows are picobello clean and the bed is prepared in the evening with mosquito net etc. I can only recommend The Haven.

The haven lodge, a gem in Jinja with fantastic view overlooking the nile

The lodge is located in a quiet area, with a panorama view over the nile. The rooms are large, nicely furnished with a terrace. Dinner and breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Complimentary early morning coffee/ tea was offered on the room terrace. Nice pool for relaxation. This was our best stay during our tour in the country and national parks. Congratulations to the host. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great place!

Stunning lodge with good accommodation, excellent food and a stunning location. Fab bird watching trip on the Nile. What more could we want?

Thanks for sharing Your experience. Yesterday there were 5 crested cranes flying just very close to the terrace of restaurant....blue turaccos, kingfishers, fish eagle, huge ground hornbill and otters are also frequently to be seen. The best is, just sitting on the porch and having a boat cruise for it. Hope to see You again, soon.
