It was nice experience after being embarrassed by management of Ox's suites in soroti i went to nearrst location landmark in soroti ..the reception was awesome and cheap regarding the prices slept there for 3 days and travelled to kampala

Middle town accomodation

We are doing some field work around Soroti and we happened to pass-by this hotel after work. We were warmly welcomed by the reception and also attended a Rotary meeting. We visited there conference facilities and they are good for anyone who wants a good place around town. The hotel also has a great scenery of Soroti and the surrounding when you go upstairs. Their current price for accommodation is Uganda shillings 75,000/=. Much as there is noise in the middle of town, while in the conference rooms, you cant hear it.

Comfortable downtown Soroti experience and inexpensive.

I've stayed at the Landmark 4 times now. I find it a decent experience with a comfortable bed, working hot showers, free wi-fi, and clean. It does have an on-site restaurant with pretty decent food, and free breakfast is included. A room with a big bed runs 65,000 per night, so it's very affordable. There is no a/c, but we get by okay with the fan.
If you don't mind the noise in the early morning, you can get rooms that look out on the Soroti market which is a kind of nice town experience. There are quieter rooms away from the street. There is parking inside the compound except during certain events, but even then, there is an armed guard watching your car on the street side with angle in parking. Staff are friendly, and the manager goes out of his way to make you feel at home.

A good mediium quaity hotel

We have stayed here several times and the staff know us and always welcome us with open arms. The rooms have fans but no AC, several have balconies and all are en suite. The beds are comfortable and changed every day. Breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room and is more than adequate. The restaurant serves meals all day - there is a reasonable selection, but be prepared for things on the menu to not be available on the day you want them. We strongly advise against ordering pizza. We had to give 24 hour notice, and when it arrived it was under cooked. Otherwise food and drinks are excellent.
Costs are very cheap by European standards and excellent value or money. It is not the Ritz - but we go there every year and will continue to do so.

a relaxing weekend in soroti

I found myself with a day or so stop-over in Soroti and the Landmark Hotel was the perfect place. It's in the middle of a small but busy town, and that is an advantage as it is still a quiet place to be. There is a woman at reception called Rachel who is kind and caring, very knowledgeable about the area and cannot do enough for her guests. I only stayed one night and a day or so but it felt like a week, an excellent place at the price - 65,000 USH currently
