Very nice accommodation in an old caravanserai
The hotel is located near all the sights in Bukhara in the building of an old caravanserai. The rooms open from a cozy courtyard - a very original atmosphere. The historical buildings mean that some doors are slightly lower, as the historic building just gives it.
The rooms were neat and clean, cozy decorated, bathroom modern.
Breakfast was very rich and varied with various Uzbek specialties. It was released in 1. 1st floor occupied in a beautiful light-filled hall with access to the roof terrace.
Staff very friendly and helpful. A completely successful stay!

Outstanding hospitality in a charming hotel
Our room was tiny but adjacent to a charming courtyard where you can sit and relax. The roof of our room was a dome and thus made the room feel bigger. Other rooms that we happened to see were bigger, so ours might have been an exception, and after we had arranged our luggage we felt very comfortable there. Everything was clean and decorated in a pleasant historical style. Breakfast was good with lots of local dishes, fruit, toast and porridge. But the hospitality of Shaxzod
made our stay exceptional: very knowledgeable in excellent English he was very attentive at all times, he helped us book train tickets to Bukhara and even went out of his way in order to organize fresh ginger for me to get rid of my terrible cold. Ginger is not a local vegetable and, therefore, not easy to get. He wouldn’t even accept my payment. And all this on his day off! We were only too sorry that he wasn’t working on the day we left, so we couldn’t even say thank you.
Altogether a very pleasant stay!

Uncomfortable bed, average breakfast
Breakfast was average, buffet laid out with usual items fruits, meats, cheese, scrambled eggs.
We left our laundry at 7am and told it would be ready by the afternoon. At 4pm we queried it and was told would be ready soon. Returned to collect at 8pm and it was still wet, assume they actually forgot to give to the cleaner in the morning and she only started at 4pm.
On checking out after the first night's stay the young male receptionist asked why we were leaving early, we told him our reason. He charged us for the 3 nights which we expected would be the case as we were within the cancellation period, however he stated that he would "refund" us US$10 there if we didnt write a negative review. We declined as we believe in giving honest reviews so other visitors know the truth.
We moved to another hotel which was excellent.
If visiting Bukhara we would not stay here again.

Welcoming and family friendly, well located
Breakfast is plentiful and eggs are offered on request. Access by car is via a maze of small streets. On foot you just have to go straight and cross the terrace of a restaurant to be in the city center.
