Excellent place to stay

Excellent hotel. Location is great, staff very friendly, rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is amazing. Swimming pool and spa is great.

A new hotel with real potential to be great but there are changes to be made.

Aliz Boulevard opened in March 2025. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. It serves a good range of items for a local breakfast, there is something for everyone. Fresh towels & bottled water daily are welcome touches. The house keeping and waiting staff at breakfast are very good.
The hotel does not offer a restaurant, bar or room service, it is more like a guest house.
Despite booking well in advance our room outlook was terrible, of a large dirty pipe & half constructed window both within touching distance, consequently you keep your curtains drawn which makes an otherwise lovely room rather dingy. The bed was comfortable but the pillows hard, no alternatives were available.
Netflix, Amazon Prime are available but despite being tech savvy logging on proved impossible nor could not cast from your device to the TV.
It is advisable to book a transfer a head of time but insist they organise a local taxi rather than the rip off tourist operators at $23 dollars. Beware that vehicles cannot get close to the hotel and there are no luggage trolleys. Not ideal if you have mobility issues or are tired after a journey but not a problem otherwise.
Also beware that there is no lift yet the breakfast room is on the third floor, not good for those guests with mobility issues. There are many flags on the desk, but no UK flag which would be nice to see.
The receptionist staff are variable in their professionalism and helpfulness.
Infact over the four days the most pleasant, hardworking and helpful receptionist was Jasur, he knew about everything always followed through and was very helpful. Jasur should be recognised and given promotion for his skill and loyalty. He made everything alright! Thank you Jasur.

Horrific experience@Room 208!

Room Air-conus spoiled when checked in first night, no air-con no offer of change room; 2nd day they said they fixed it, 2 nd night no fix ; and the person on duty just disappeared after 6 pm and new guy on duty got no idea , n told me can’t change room

Spectacular! In front of the park on a pedestrian street, perfect for walking to Registan. All new and beautiful. 10/10

This hotel is a gem in Samarkand! The building is classic, but everything has been recently renovated then everything is new and working perfectly. The free WiFi let me have video calls without problem, and it is impeccably clean. The decor of the restaurant, and the terrace is beautiful (so much so that I sent photos and video to my family!) — The location is also perfect, facing a park on a pedestrian street that was ideal for a quiet rest, and 15 minutes walk from Registan Square and the Amir Timur mausoleum. The pool is spectacular, and above all I recommend the Turkish sauna. Delicious and super complete breakfast, and all for a price we found very reasonable. The cherry on the cake was the team at reception who took care of our bags while we went hiking in the mountains, and even let us use the pool showers on our return. Frankly they are lovely, I highly recommend them!

Amazing hotel, a MUST pick.

Absolutely amazing hotel, staff and experience. This should be the only hotel you consider.
Staff were excellent at sorting any and all queries. One of our party lost their passport, and the staff went above and beyond to help find it. It was successfully retrieved from a nearby restaurant. Cannot describe in words how excellent the staff were.
The hotel itself is brand new and as such is amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the hotel is extremely clean. The swimming pool is fabulous and the breakfast was great too.
I highly recommend this hotel, it should be the only one that is considered as it's so good.
