Friendly, informative staff, spacious room, great showers

I booked 2 nights and extended by another 2 nights but had to change rooms. Both rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. No air con but it wasn’t needed. Simple breakfast of bread, boiled egg, fruit and tea made a good start to the day. The one downside is that there’s no real outside space but it is in a good area with lots of local restaurants and an easy walk to the market and lake. The owner even gave me some bread and a boiled egg as a snack for my overnight bus journey. Recommended

Poor customer service

Poor customer service and ridiculous Management! I’ve traveled so many places never face this problem.
We were informed by this property very last minute (on the check in day) that Our Room was occupied.
And they ask for double price to get a bigger room when we showed up just standing infront of their reception!
Very ridiculous, we booked the room one month early, and this is their management issue why ask customer to pay double price for bigger room.
They should arrange immediately another room for us even bigger room also have to be the same price!

Clean, bright hostel with friendly staff.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, but we would have loved to have stayed longer. We arrived early in the morning and were given a bed by 8am in a room that was clean and spacious, with a good bathroom attached too. We also had hot showers. The owner was lovely and invited us to join him for dinner and offered us tea numerous times. We rented bikes from him for a reasonable price too. He couldn't have done more for us and was very attentive. (Just to note - don't rely on mapping apps to get you here as the hotel has recently moved and the apps have yet to catch up. Take down the address instead!)

So relaxed

We (2 people) booked two beds in a 4-bed room but the other two beds remained empty - We had the room to us for our whole stay, which was amazingly comfortable! Very cheap hostel and still the cutest and probay best one in Da Lat! Very kind hosts! Yummy breakfast! A lot of green on the balcony! :)

Mixed feelingrs

It's hard to rate this place because if it wasn't for the staff and the people we met it wouldn't get a good rating at all.
The dorm room was basically a sort of corridor with no door between you and all the other rooms/kitchen and the outside door was always open so you heard noise early and late and night.
The bathrooms were not very clean and only two between a lot of people and right on top of the kitchen which was a bit awkward if you needed the toilet when the staff was cooking. Only one shower actually worked well. The wifi was average.
The location was alright. Relatively close to things. The room was cool enough without a fan giving the weather in Dalat but fans available. Beds clean and tidy but also the whole room felt very damp and Mould on the walls. Also lots of little crawly ant type bugs on the walls which sometimes got on you in bed.
But the staff were great. The little table outside always had a staff member sat wanting to drink tea and chat. So that's what we did and met some lovely travellers at the same time and it really made the hostel for us. But without this I wouldn't stay again.
