Pretty good stay

This hotel was an ok location although is up a bit of a hill! The room was decently sized and and the bathroom was also pretty generously sized. The beds were very comfy and we had a great nights sleep both nights we stayed. Even had a balcony overlooking sapa town. It was a little dirty in the cracks but nothing too bad. The staff were reasonably helpful although the language barrier was a bit more noticeable, although it is mostly around sapa. Overall a good stay.

Don't Stay

Receptionist speaks no English. We had no hot water and no one is around to ask for help. When we got back to hotel each time our key is sitting on the desk which anyone could take. They do not have a restaurant and no breakfast is available. Reception area us used by staff/family members as their owm lounge room snd they lay all over the lounges. Only way to hotel is up 100 steep steps which you are not told about. You have to cart your luggage up these steps yourself.  Building was going on just outside our window and we werent made aware of this. Do not stay here.

Would not stay here. Our tour put us here to take shower until we can check into Silk Path. We didn’t like the food or the hotel. Tour offered free dinner at this restaurant but we declined to go back since our breakfast experience was so bad. Food was cold and pretty tasteless but for the prices I see listed, I guess it’s not too bad.

Not so pleasant hotel

Reception lady is very cunning, sometimes she knows English and when it doesn't fit her she mumble no english.
We didn't get any towels, after asking reception it took them 2 hours to bring us.
NO HOT WATER AFTER 7pm.
We had to ask them and the janitor went to the boiler room to turn it on.
Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable

Nice clean hotel will an great view, a short walk to the main square but the stairs down, and therefore back up are steep. The rooms are minimalist style with no fridge which didn't bother us with a story stay. Staff are delightful, friendly and super keen to be of service. We would stay there again.
