Easy guesthouse with extremely friendly receptionist
The lodge is nothing fancy but has all you need:
- clean rooms
- working internet
- warm breakfast (English style)
- own bar and restaurant. Which we did not test but asked them to organize a barbecue which they did
- reasonable room rates
Extremely positive was the receptionist who tried to take care of all we asked for.
In summary: definitely nothing special (do not expect big television, great breakfast menus, shiny floors and reception) but a place I will for sure return when I come to Ndola
as you feel very comfortable due to the friendliness of all people around

Why you should never stay here
My room did have a rather nice bed however I could not fail to notice the dual socket in the corner hanging out of its holder with naked wires exposed. Strike 1.
I order two fantas. Strike 2 the drinks were luke warm. Regardless of the problems brought onto us by loadshedding drinks should be kept cool at the very least.
Strik 3 was the much bally hooed breakfast. It never happened. Despite being alone in the building and waiting patiently I found a plump jovial lady who promised to get the mbaula going. Mbaula ? At a lodge in 2024 ? When gas stoves are available ? Even a two plate gas stove ? I showered dressed up and called my pick up. I then sallied from my room expecting my breakfast. Only to be told that it was not ready !!!!
I left a very disappointed and very hungry man. Please avoid this place like the plague. They are not serious about their business.
