Thank you Lokuthula Lodges for a Excellent stay
We travelled to the Victoria Falls on a escorted tour with Newmarket Holidays , there was 14 in our group that was just right and we never felt rushed, We stayed in a 3 bedroom lodge which was very spacious with 2 bathrooms ,The beds was comfortable and made up every day , bottles of water was also placed in the fridge which was handy, WI-FI was there but sometimes the signal would go low but there was a strong signal at the Boma and Buffalo bar not far away ,to see so much Wildlife outside our lodge was just Amazing , We found all the staff there was Friendly and polite , we went to the Boma one night for a buffet meal and drum show which was a great night ! the food at the Buffalo bar was good with lovely views over the water hole watching the Wildlife going there for a drink with nice Sunsets too, 2nd day of our holiday we was taken a short drive to the spectacular Victoria Falls , other days of the holiday on Safaris, The falls was at full flow from previous months of rains ,to see the falls like that was breath-taking ! A few tips here , when you visit the falls May to June you will get wet from the spray ! So protect your cameras and valuables such as money and phones etc. for small items we used zip type food bags to help keeping things dry , Take a torch with you as the grounds surrounding the lodges are fairly dark at night , depending on when you go it can get hot during the day but chilly at night and 1st thing in the morning so take appropriate clothing with you , If you cross the over the boarder into neighbouring countries such as Botswana and return to Zimbabwe you will need to obtain a KASA UNIVISA which is easy to buy at the immigrations desk when you arrive at Victoria falls airport ,At the time of writing they was 50 USD each .

Relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lokuthula Lodge in Victoria Falls. Our two-bedroom chalet, complete with a kitchen, provided plenty of space and was well suited to a comfortable and relaxing stay. While the chalet itself was a little dark and somewhat dated, it was clean and serviced daily by friendly staff.
One of our favourite aspects of the lodge was the beautiful bush setting. We spent many enjoyable hours on the patio watching the wildlife that wandered through the grounds, especially the warthogs, which became regular and entertaining visitors.
The location was excellent, with the courtesy shuttle providing easy and convenient access to Victoria Falls town whenever we wanted to explore.
A major advantage of staying at Lokuthula was having full access to the facilities and restaurants at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. We particularly enjoyed dining there and loved the lively Dinner and Drum Show at the Boma.
Overall, Lokuthula Lodge offers a comfortable stay in a wonderful natural setting, with excellent amenities and easy access to the many attractions of Victoria Falls.

A haven a peace, tucked away in the bush!
I stayed in one of the self-catering lodges at Lokuthula and it was absolutely beautiful. The lodge is quirky in all the right ways: I loved the thatch and how cool the house was. Two of the bedrooms were up half a floor, then the third bedroom up half a floor again. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very well appointed and the shower was amazing! The kitchen had everything one needed. We loved the half-tent, half-house feel and the ability of opening up the whole front of the living room. The living space gives on to a watered lawn, and then bush and was often frequented by bushbuck, warthog, guinea fowl and banded mongoose.
Another highlight is the access to the Victoria Falls Hotel which is also on site. It is a stunning thatched building on multiple levels whose veranda gives on to a 180 degree vista of the bush, with a watering hole in front of it. The sunset from there is spectacular.
Our only negative point was the actual food in the restaurant which looked beautiful, but which we felt, lacked in flavour. It simply didn't live up to our expectations given how lovely everything else was - but that is perhaps a question of personal taste.
The Boma drumming sessions looked, and sounded very cool but the rest of my family were not up for it so I can't vouch for it personally but it did come highly recommended!
Lokuthula is also far enough out of town to be away from the helicopter noises, but close enough to nip to town.
Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Experience in Zimbabwe
The staff at Lokuthula are absolutely amazing From the day we arrived there till the day we left we were treated like royalty. We were in awe of the way every person went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Our trips to every place we went was made so memorable

We had an amazing stay; the only issue was the lack of information from the desk when we checked in. We were not informed that there was a shuttle bus; we only found out when we were looking to get a taxi to get into town. The view from the hotel is amazing. The shuttle bus drivers have good customer care.
Bar service was a bit slow and could do with paying more attention to guests.
We would stay at Lokuthula on our next trip.
