Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19% To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger wont be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately. Very safe, comfortable, friendly

We stayed here for just one night last week. It was a very nice comfortable room with private bath and window. They also had these wonderful reading lights on either side of the bed. (I'd like those in my own house.) They very kindly let us keep our bags here the next day while we took a morning penguin tour and did not return until early afternoon. The house is very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. It is only about a 7 minute walk from the bus station and a 20 minute walk to the solo expediciones office (penquin and sea lion tours). It is about a 10 minute walk to the busy Bories street with cafes, restaurants and stores. The floors squeek, so if other guests are up and about you do hear them.

All round very good

Nice rooms and lounge, wireless. Goodish breakfast. Friendly and helpful. Reasonable location. Needs small amount of TLC, recommended

Eccellenza

Che dire? Con un ambiente incantevole pieno di pezzi di brocante e pavimenti in legno, questo alberghetto in una casa tipica della zona è un oasi di pace e tranquillità un po' separato dal centro. La proprietaria, la signora Lucrecia è una persona deliziosa sempre disponibile e molto efficiente, pronta a coprire tutte le necessità. Non importa a quale ora si parta per le gite, la collazione è sempre pronta. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti.

Soggiorno di una settimana

Hostal fantastico ubicato in cima a Punta Arenas, gestito molto bene. Colazione superlativa, pulizia, belle camere e gentilezza della padrona. Assolutamente da scegliere per chi va a Punta Arenas!!!!!

Senora Lucrecia

Questo posto è la sua proprietaria: gentile, ospitale, carina e disponibile.
La casa è incantevole, disseminata di oggetti di antiquariato e con pavimenti e scale di legno che scricchiolano come nelle case di una volta.
La nostra stanza era spaziosa e, se proprio dobbiamo trovarle un neo, il bagno avrebbe avuto bisogno di una rinfrescata.
Siamo partiti al mattino presto (6.30) per la navigazione alla Isla Magdalena e, malgrado questo, la signora Lucrecia ci ha lasciato un sacchetto all'ingresso con una copiosa colazione da portare via e ci ha permesso di tenere la nostra auto nel parcheggio dell'hostal per tutta la durata della nostra gita.
Che dire, spettacolare!!!
