Pillows, towels and bed sheets were full of stains.
Paper thin walls - could hear next door guests normal conversations. Bed was far below basic standards.
The bathroom floor was not draining properly, with uneven flooring.
The good thing: location was right in the middle of town with a walking distance to major shops.

Below par and definitely NOT a four star motel

To say that we were disappointed would be an understatement. Instead of the three or four star rating attributed, we give the place merely one, and that only because the roof was watertight. The atmosphere was ‘run down’; service and amenities were below par.
The many deficiencies of the room should be well known to its management. Indeed, a notice in the room reflects their awareness of it not meeting even their own expectations. It certainly did not meet ours, and there was no evidence of anyone being ‘in the process of making significant improvements’.
Worst of all, beyond giving us a code by phone to obtain our room key, staff failed utterly to communicate with us. This included a failure to respond to email and SMS messages about our television not working and there being no remote control to be found. No staff were seen at all during our two night stay.
The bathroom sink was filthy and its plug did not work; there was no bath mat and there were no sanitary bags in place, two of the three lights in our room did not work and one power point was faulty.
All things considered, we consider that the price of $165 per night charged to be well over what would be reasonable. $60 would be more reasonable
This motel should be knocked down. The six or so other guests at your motel while we were there feel equally disappointed and financially let down by this unsatisfactory state of affairs.
We have sought a refund to compensate for the outrageous overcharging and appalling state of our room. Local tourism authorities will be advised.

The rooms are a bit tired which is too be expected for a budget motel, however the lack of service items demonstrates a certain lack of willingness of staff to provide appropriate service. The room I checked into had no soap, no bathmat, no hand towel, no chair to sit on, no glasses in the cupboard. The television remote was missing and the air conditioning remote had no batteries. There were towels and coffee cups.

Blacklisted

Really rundown interiors, uncomfortable beds, broken toilet seat and no wifi code, no response from management
Over priced for what is supplied
I don’t think the rooms are properly serviced either.

Never again

Never again. No reception open. Had contact mobile but never answered and message bank continually full. No tv remote and no way to turn. Empty soap dispenser and no soap provided. No toaster. Lumpy pillows. Wifi cut off at 6.30pm. Definitely not worth the money.
