Enjoyable Stay

Initial contact with cloe over the phone was pleasant, friendly and assuring. Cloe was able to assigned the rooms we were going to be in from the first phone call. That’s exceptional service!

A very cheerful, warm, friendly welcoming. Beautiful huge rooms with a nice view too. Welcome amenity was already in the room with a welcome card addressing the family, not just myself. In the 9 years of Platinumship, this is the first time a hotel has addressed welcoming my whole family and the card is still hand written. Very nice personal touch. These days most hotels have printed cards . Some don’t even provide a welcome card or letter anymore. The hotel had plenty of free parking. Conveniently located by the river and only a 15-20 easy stroll to the city centre via seaport footbridge. Right next to the hotel is a playground/park. On the other side was the river where they had the New Year’s Eve fireworks. We could see it from our window. Their restaurant The Grains of Silos served good Ala carte breakfast. Highly recommend the hotel

A holiday treat for kids

We couldn't get the accommodation we needed but the clever receptionist suggested we could fulfil a special wish to have breakfast there which we did and it was just lovely!

Peppers is always my go to in Launie - we LOVE it - the staff are always professional helpful and consistent from checkin to the restaurant and cleaning everyone goes over and above … parking is free and easy and of course who doesn’t love a location overlooking the beautiful Tamar ?? The meals in the restaurant are always 5 star as is the service so yes go ahead and indulge yourself and if possible opt for the “silo” rooms they are quirky and have the best views

Unique luxury hotel in an excellent riverside setting

Excellent hotel is a lovely park setting by the river. We stayed in a top floor suite and it was very spacious, comfortable, fresh air and no traffic noise. Excellent secure parking under the hotel.

Relaxing stay

I stayed here as a repeat guest. My cousins visited during the day we had lunch at the cafe and coffee in the hotel room. Rooms are spacious, with great views. We enjoyed a plunger coffee and some sweet treats we got from the hotel cafe. The staff are friendly and accomodating.
