Fantastic holiday season

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Fischer am See (Maisonette Suite No. 30) for 5 nights in mid-May 2025. The room is very spacious and offers a fantastic view of Lake Heiterwanger. The daily cleaning of the room was quick and thorough while we were at breakfast. From the boss (Mrs Bunte) “downstairs” everyone was always friendly and helpful and always ready for a small but fine chat. The rich breakfast served at the table is a very good idea and should become standard. The menu in the evening (half board) tasted very well, a hefty look-up was free in case of great hunger. Tip: On the last evening, I ordered the beef fried 250 g from the menu – phenomenally prepared by the chef!
Since my wife and I prefer family-run hotels to the big bed castles, we will be back at the fisherman's next year at the latest. Thanks again to everyone at the fisherman who made a wonderful holiday possible for us!

Very nice hotel with very large reductions in tasting

A very nicely located hotel right on the lake. But we would BOOK WITHOUT FOOD!!! After dinner, you get up hungry again. While there is dessert after the portions are really very small, this demand never comes from the host. All dishes are served at the table. For side dishes, e.g. salad, you pay extra. Guests from outside get really big portions. As a hotel guest you get the dish in manageable size. IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT, THIS HOTEL IS JUST THE PLACE!! After 1 1/2 hours we had just got the main course. The waiters or kitchen is heillos overloaded. If you refrain from cleaning, you get a free drink. When cashing in at the bar, we made you feel like you're asking for something here. The price-performance ratio is below average here.
We will certainly not visit this hotel again in the future.

The location is fantastic, meals are lovely. Breakfast was a little dose of luxury we haven't had that nice breakfast anywhere. The staff are amazing, warm, friendly and happy to chat to you. They go the extra mile for children

Dreamlike holiday against an impressive backdrop

We spent a few days in Tyrol for the first time and after some research we decided to stay at the Hotel Fischer am Heiterwanger See. It was a fantastic time with all-round excellent Service against an impressive backdrop with mountains and the lake. We were greeted very friendly, had a fixed parking space for our car during the 4 days of our stay and got a very nice room - you can almost say apartment with bedroom/living room/bathroom - on the 2nd floor with views of mountains and lake. The first evening we spent in the restaurant belonging to the hotel with a selection of delicious food from the rich menu. The Quality of food (including blue mold magic - so delicious! Macaroni roast beef and trout milliner) prompted us to eat dinner here the other days as well and book half board for 22 euros per person. This was an absolutely fair price for the 4-course menu offered (with drinks charged separately).
What is particularly important to us in terms of staying at the hotel: The sleeping comfort. I've rarely slept so well. Probably a combination of comfortable mattress and the good mountain air. We were welcomed after a relaxing night with a selectable breakfast, which was served on a tierre. Everything from regional sausage to regional cheese and a fruit plate was there. Also salmon, egg dishes, jam and a chocolate croissant. Everything was perfect! Also the weather, so we could have breakfast/dinner on 3 days on the terrace. Of particular note is the friendly, attentive staff who always had an eye on everything, so you really didn't miss anything. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Hotel Fischer am See. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Fantastic

Here they turn traditional dishes into something very special. It is a real treat for fishermen on the lake, a cuisine of the highest standard.
All products come from regional and traceable origins and a great Service completes it.
The rooms overlooking the lake are also beautiful.
Just great here.
