Very welcoming hotel in beautiful location.
Nice hotel in a beautiful location. The road to the hotel is already a very nice route to drive.
Owners are very friendly and helpful. The beautiful spacious rooms are fully equipped and very clean. Highly recommended. In the area plenty to do for young and old. From summer and winter.

Tirol hiking & friend vacation
Summer at the Alpen Royal is perfect! The hiking from the hotel and the knowledge off the staff very helpful.
The food: breakfast and dinner very tasty and we loved the cake and drinks for apres hike.
Our room was very comfortable. The hotel is ski mountain side so I can only imagine the ski in ski out convenience.
I highly recommended this hotel

Silent summer
I've spent a week with husband and little children.
This family run hotel is in a small village and has a pleasant view over the mountains. It's very close to the gondola that takes you to the top so from the hotel you can start many walking tracks.
There is also a free bus within the valley.
The rooms are spacious, incredibly silent and very clean. Impressive how in less than 5 seconds you can have either very hot or very cold water from the tap.
They serve breakfast, afternoon snacks and a 5 course dinner, all of which very satisfactory, with drinks not being included in the price.
There is a playground outside and a room full of toys for the little ones and a wellness area for the adults.
Daily trips organized.
The owner speaks little bit of Italian and some English, but other that her and one waitress it was not easy communicating with the staff (German speaking).
Very accomodating with the needs of my 6 months old.
Not sure if it's common in Austria, but we were a bit surprised of not finding a toilet kit in the bathroom (only 1 soap bar), and pity there's no swimmingpool to rest and refresh your muscles after hiking.

Rustig hotel, waar kwaliteit hoog in het vaandel staat
Rustig gelegen hotel in het gehucht Liss in het Pitztal. Het hotel scoort qua schone kamers , vriendelijkheid en het avondeten echt een maximale score.
Bij aankomst werden we door de gastvrouw hartelijk ontvangen met een kop koffie en natuurlijk kuchen. We konden gelijk naar onze kamer die superschoon was. Het avondeten is echt een aanrader. Het 5 gangen menu werd elke avond netjes aan tafel gebracht, dus geen nerveus geloop van gasten naar en buffet.
Het ontbijt is wel in buffetvorm en ook best wel uitgebreid.
De bediening in het hotel is echt goed. Ik spreek en verstaan Duits prima maar toch is het leuk dat ik aan mijn tafel werd geholpen door een ober die uit Nederland kwam.
Parkeren van mijn auto is ook gratis op een eigen parkeerplaats. Daarnaast kreeg ik bij het inchecken een kaartje waarmee ik elke dag gratis van liften, openbaar veervoeren bezienswaardigheden gebruik kon maken.
Als ik na een week terug kijk kan ik wel stellen dat zeker weer eens naar dit hotel terug ga. Dit was echt heel goed.

Heel goed hotel, jammer van betaald water
We zijn hier nu al meerdere keren geweest. Ik geloof dat deze keer de 4e keer was. Het hotel ligt vrijwel aan de piste. Je kunt bijna tot aan de deur skiën. De kamers zijn net en voldoende ruim. Gratis WiFi en een heerlijke douche. Elke avond een goed 4 gangen diner. Alles smaakt. Het personeel is vriendelijk en kundig. ( Louise en Thomas o.a) eigenlijk niks aan te merken. Behalve dit, en dat stoort toch. Voor een karaf water van 1ltr moet je €2,90 betalen. Ik begrijp dat je dit in rekening brengt als je gasten niks anders drinken, maar onze drank rekening was per avond gemiddeld €75,- mede vanwege de heerlijke witte en rode huiswijn. Des te jammer is het dat je bij dergelijke drankrekeningen toch voor je water moet betalen. Met een lege karaf dan zelf maar water halen wordt ook niet gewaardeerd. De chef gaf aan dat dat niet toegestaan is. We hebben dit ook met de chef besproken maar ze gaan dit niet veranderen. Erg jammer omdat het gewoon kraanwater betreft.
