Feel good all around.

Super friendly staff and owner, you feel very secure. The food is very delicious and the kitchen even fulfilled us special requests for a fantastic meal. The location to the ski resort is first cream. We will come back again.

A treasured favourite

Really special place. Fantastic food if you’re a meat eater. Great steaks. Good prices for quality of food. Very traditional interior and fabulous service. A local’s restaurant. Best to book in advance in high season.

Still wonderful

This family owned and run Gasthof situated at the top of the mountain pass between the Tirol and Salzburger Land has wonderful panoramic views of the Großglockner and it’s surrounding landscape.The Austrian style food is relatively simple but excellent and served In good size portions at a sensible price. The service is warm and friendly. The Breitmoos pepper steak with accompanying buttery roast potatoes is a worldbeater. Only a short drive from Kitzbuehel and Mittersill it’s good for lunch or dinner - Give it try you won‘t regret it!

Great Family hotel & restaurant close to Kitzbühel and Mittersill

Berghotel Breitmoos is a very nice family hotel with a great restaurant, surrounded by mountains and forests .The open fireplace and the nice Austrian decoration in the hotel and restaurant gives you a "coming home" feeling. The chef Mandy and his new chef Peter with their staff are good in delicious traditional Austrian cooking, sometimes combined with new creative ideas.
This charming Austrian hotel is very close to the skilift and ski rental (5 min. walk), rooms are comfortable with great view on the mountains. Guests are feeling very welcome by the friendly staff (fam. Neumaier and Marek and all the others).The area is also suitable for walking and lang lauf and the hotel has its own "eisstock schiessen" facility.
My first visit was in 1979 (but some of us already since the 50's ) and we still visit them every year with friends and family.
Absolutely worth a visit!

Great restaurant for a typical Austrian meal in the right ambiance.

Friends from Canada who used to own an Austrian restaurant recommended this place and we drove 20 minutes out of Kitzbühel to have dinner there. Great Tyrolean decor and music along with a friendly service and great food. It was worth the trip. Next time, we'll try the rooms and the hospitality.
