My current favourite hotel on Lake Attersee
I spent a wonderful week at the Hotel Lexenhof in Nussdorf am Attersee and can only warmly recommend this house! Already on arrival I was warmly welcomed by the very friendly hosts and made me feel immediately welcome.
My room was modern, very tastefully decorated and left nothing to be desired – here I could feel completely comfortable. I would particularly like to highlight the rich breakfast buffet, which has delighted every morning with a great selection of fresh and regional products.
Parking facilities at the hotel are also excellent – convenient and stress-free. The location of the Lexenhof is ideal: quiet, yet central, so you can explore Lake Attersee and the surrounding area perfectly.

Feeling totally pampered at the Lexenhof!
My son and I booked four nights at the Lexenhof just ahead and over Christmas. We found everything to be pretty perfect. Astrid is the heart and soul of the administration and took our booking in October and ensured that everything was done to our satisfaction once we arrived. We had a huge room with a lake view to ourselves so that we had more privacy as we were sleeping at opposite ends of it, and everything was very clean. The hotel is quiet and the staff very discreet and we could come and go as we pleased. The thing to look forward to was always the breakfast as it was so sumptious and nothing was too much trouble for Astrid and if we asked we'd always get more and the food was fresh and varied. On the day of departure we had to leave quite early so I had said to Astrid not to bother with breakfast for us (and hadn't even said when exactly we're leaving) but she managed to turn up at 6.15am just ahead of our cab arriving, really worrying that we get a bite to eat or at least a quick coffee and that was so caring so rest assured that the Lexenhof will always go the extra mile for its guests and that you will have a tremendous stay in scenic Nussdorf.

Ausgezeichnet
Die Lage direkt am Wasser war einfach traumhaft. Der Badebereich war gut gepflegt und bot ausreichend Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme für die Gäste. Das klare, türkisfarbene Wasser lud zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln ein. Die Umgebung war ruhig und friedlich, perfekt für Entspannung und Erholung. Das Hotel hat definitiv einen herrlichen Badeplatz zu bieten, der meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat.

Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht
Zimmer veraltet, kaputte Fliesen, Mini-Badezimmer, lockere Toilettenbrille und kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer.
Beim Sonntagsfrühstücks gab es Brötchen vom Vortag. Ansonsten ist das Frühstück okay…
Das Zimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig.

Gutes Frühstück, bescheidene Zimmer
Schön ist es, wenn man das Haus durch den Garten betritt; eine nette Gastronomie rundet das Ganze ab.
Zimmer sind groß und sauber mit eher ältlichen Pseudomöbeln eingerichtet. Betten klein und unbequem. Hellhörig plus Essensgerüche passten gut zum abgewohnten Badezimmer mit röhrenden Abzug und splittrigen Kacheln. Preisleistung stimmen leider nicht.
Allein das Frühstück und die nette Astrid entsprechen Erwartung und auch Preisklasse.
